Out of interest did you try this at more than 2 players? My wife and I came to the same conclusion as you both but did think that it might play better at 3-4 where there would actually be some contention over rail routes.
Which other shorter-length train games would you recommend? I love hearing from you two and hope that you'll add name-drops of alternatives in future videos.
For a short game I liked Paris Connection. It's a hidden information stock/rout building game. Sadly I dont think it's in print, but I did see it on ebay for $20
@@peterpan444 thanks much Wendy! I will look into it. My husband and I have small children and I really appreciate a good meatier fast game. Loved the recs that you two had on the A Team top 100. Keep up the great work!
@@reelsassycritic I definitely get having small kids and not a ton of time. I haven't played Paris Connection with 2, so I'm not sure how it would be for just you and your husband. I'd recomend check into it before you buy 😀
If I am doing pick up and deliver train games, I mostly stick to 'crayon rail' Empire Builder type games. Don't like enforced inefficiency of routes in Steam and such.

Thanks for this. I really disliked this game, and far too many videos were super positive about it. I didn't understand why. This helps.

With blueish wall and white light you might wanna try some warm color correction(especially in highlights). That will make skin looks more natural.
I would Choo choo Choose another train game....

Agree, but can you play it in 30 minutes? :D
