This was dope. I'm a fan of the wood whisperer channel and I plan on checking out more installments of this series. This is just another cool thing the wood whisperer has put me on to. Very cool.
I love that I’m just now finding this. Marc has been a long time not hero but man I look up to and value his word. I’ve been a long time TWW fan and Marc has taught me more than I could ever thank him for.
Favorite part was Duggie poking his head out through the door when it was closing. I have myQ for my garage doors and it is incredibly useful to be able to know if the kids leave the garage doors open at night. I can get an alert when they open and close and just auto close them at night.
I've never met the guy but based on how he engages with his followers he seems to be every bit as genuine and decent as he comes off in this video. Great content that's entertaining as it is informative!
Mark, I have been a fan for many years, and I have always admired your very mindful wood-related endeavors. You have a natural talent when telling the back story of the project or even about the piece of wood. Expressing the reason why we do things is always enlightening. You taught me so much from my meager beginnings until now. (I'm still a beginner). Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my friend. Felix
Great video. I got seriously into woodworking right around the time Marc started The Wood Whisperer (back then a video podcast on iTunes). It’s been so cool to see the journey over the years.
I whisper to my wood every night. Marc runs one of the best woodworking channels on RUclips. Im guessin every episode of Garage Master contains a segment about security.
Been watching TWW for a bit and he has been very helpful in my progress as a novice woodworker. I also love the MyQ garage door opener. Nothing like checking your phone to check if your garage is closed.
That was outstanding! What an amazing setup and use of the space and Mark is always a ton of fun to watch (and inspirational as well!). Great job video team on a well-honed piece!
Probably Marc and Steve (WWMM) are culpable of me starting my own woodworking passion and a channel! I got hooked and have never looked back! If you're reading this, you're an inspiration!
Proof that Marc has infact actually used his lathe! Only for this RUclips video but still. At least he didn't quit! and take up knitting... (if you know, you know!) ;-)
Awesome video! It truly is very inspiring in my opinion...Have been following Marc for some time. This just puts the icing on the cake if I may put it that way 🙂
Nope... You need the 4 car first! I have 2 car with lots of tools. Some nice... some not so much. It shares hobbies. Very different ones. I need another 2 spaces for sure.
No. Most are for one or two cars. You start seeing 3 & 4 car garages in larger houses. However, due to the popularity of trucks and large SUVs, garage sizes have increased.
Even in my neighborhood where the houses are on the larger size, we're one of the only ones with a 4-car garage. in face, it was the driving force behind why we picked this particular house.
I just built myself a shop addition and wondering what you think of the epoxy flooring. Is it expected to hold up to tools rolling around on it as I would hate to do it then have it chip on me later
How do you efficiently heat your workshop? I've got a very nice, attached garage, but the thick concrete slab radiates bone-chilling cold like an iceberg.
The crap they throw down into the epoxy helps a great deal with it being slippery. I opted for the chips but they can also add a sandy material to provide even more grip. If you do that, it really mitigates the risk. But even then if you have a nice coating of dust or you come in with snow on your shoes, you want to be a little bit more careful than you'd be on raw concrete.
It was awesome being a part of this docuseries. You guys did such a great job with the video. Thanks for inviting me to be a part of it.
@@thomashajicek2747 haha you should see the FULL reaction....he took his time soaking it in. :)
Marc this is a fantastic documentary! What better shop tour is out there? (hint: none)
@@woodwhisperer should have told them to blur that powermatic sign ;)

Marc and Nicole are 2 of the most amazing people! So good to see him getting the exposure.
Fact! I knew them before they had kids. What an awesome family!
Seeing the Amazon Mans reaction was awesome! :D Haha
Boy that was a different side of what we normally see! So glad you did this Marc, I really enjoyed it!

Ive been watching Marc on you tube forever years now. The several garage shops and the planning over the years has been great to see.
I think this is the first time in 10 years he fired up that lathe lol
I thought the same thing!
Back then, when he was sponsored by powematic... Remember? Ah... The nostalgia
Where has the time gone? lol
@@woodwhisperer take care man! You've got a fan here in Argentina

Marc is a beast...of a break-dancer😏
I can only imagine Marc's reaction when he got the call from MyQ to do this video.. "I don't really use my garage doors.. Screw it. Why not."
Will definitely be watching your ch.! Love the star trek reference and the "Costanza Cheesecake" photo, LoL!!
I really enjoyed this video Marc! I always learn something and your good natured, light hearted approach is appreciated!

When I saw the title, it brought back memories of Batman, Ultraman, and possibly The Electric Company's Letter Man.
I love Marc Spamnogo.....The Wood Whisperer
Great video, I enjoyed watching this and seeing how Marc started, I’ve been watching and listening to him for ages. 😊
AWESOME 👍
Marc…You make some really nice projects taking advantage of the grains and natural colors. Your finishing techniques are superb!’

Love the video, and now I'm actually debating getting a MyQ Garage opener haha

That isn't a garage, that's a car-park sized space bigger than my whole house....lol.
I could have a garage like that if I had all of those tools too. 😉
Nope... You need the 4 car first! I have 2 car with lots of tools. Some nice... some not so much. It shares hobbies. Very different ones. I need another 2 spaces for sure.
@Les I had a 33 car, but neighborhood was going down hill. Moved back into a 2 car.
or "I could Build my own 4 car garage like that. If I had Festool & Powermatic tools at my fingertips"😂😂
Is thát the size of a common garage over there in the US?
Wow...
No. Most are for one or two cars. You start seeing 3 & 4 car garages in larger houses. However, due to the popularity of trucks and large SUVs, garage sizes have increased.

Great stuff! Sadly I don’t have a garage 😭
My shop is insulated in the ceiling and walls and I run a Mitsubishi Mini Split for heating and AC.
I have been considering epoxying my garage floor be have heard they are very slippery if they get wet. Have you experienced that?
The crap they throw down into the epoxy helps a great deal with it being slippery. I opted for the chips but they can also add a sandy material to provide even more grip. Everything but restroom ?
Yeah, it sure is amazing what you can do with a garage and, ya know, a ton of money. 😒
Loved to see new angles of your workshop , that we didn’t see in your videos!
