It was really easy and quick to do. About fifteen minutes. Helpful hint: I ordered a new back cover plate that had new adhesive strip, so would make easier and seal better. This kept me from using glue.
Easy? They sealed it and glued it as much as possible to block customers from changing the battery easily. This is anti-consumer, but they don't care because they know consumers will just buy a new phone instead. Easy... 🤨
Sir, I'm using A52 for almost 3yr now and recently after the ui 6.1 update I started noticing my battery is draining after and I also find few A52 user on reddit they are also facing the same issue but I also changed in my samsung member app it's showed my battery status weak...so I'm confused it is OS bug or battery?

After replacing the battery and attaching the cover, is it still waterproof? I'm just confused. Coz I felt like my My phone's battery cover ( samsung A52s) is about to be detached. It seems like the glue gotten soft and not sticking as it was.

@@DIYGeardo I couldn't care less about ip67 rating. I always have my phone in a waterproof case. What I need is just the old screw held case. My last phone lg g5 was unfortunately no longer supported by tmobile network. Would've sticker to it still. Guys if you managed to crack the case open, limit your glue usage as much as possible. No glue for me, I only use scotch tape. I'm not a professional and always struggle to get most phone open and always crack the back especially if they're made of glass. God I hate glass backing. You'll sacrifice waterproof IP67 nonsense. Just keep them inside a big impact resistant case, you're all set. Remember, most aftermarket batteries sold are junks, you have no idea if they last 2 months or 2 years so expect for the worst so you can easily swap them out again.
The kind of technicians I despise. Using heat on a lithium battery. The wrong type of adhesive and the cheap kind at that. Guess it doesn't matter when it's a customers phone and not yours.
F*** that.... it's not worth it. These companies should just make phones with ez-2-remove batteries and cases, not all this glue and screw nonsense. NEXT!
@@DIYGeardo yeah I just received a new frame and digitizer because of my amateur mistakes, wish I would have watched this before committing a very expensive mistake.. I miss the good ol' days where you would just pop the phone in half and just take off the battery and you were good
True
because of new EU laws they might come back in 2027

Where did you order it from?
I only ordered a new adhesive, the back cover is reusable.
I'm glad the battery replacement is this easy. I have Honor 9x and I had to take the rear cover AND the screen off to change the battery
Yep, kind of easy

What are those little compression tools you used in the end?
Thank you for your tutorials ! Would it work, to replace the battery of the A52s by the one of the A53 please ?
I don't think it is compatible

I had a lot of trouble getting the battery cable to attach back to the phone. Also, the ribbon flex was impossible to re-attach.
How many celcius did you apply onto the battery with that heater to remove it?
How are you grabbing the small screws to put back in with one hand?
Magnetic screwdriver
Is there any phone better or as good as this one that you can change the battery easier? In and out like the old days.
Hi,
Can I use B-7000 instead of the adhesive strips for battery?
Yes you can
I use to have an s4 and the battery was easily accessible just with the removable back plastic. Miss those days.
Yep
Using a hot water bottle is a good way to heat up the adhesive
🙄
Thanks man you made it look so simple
You're very welcome!
Hi Geardo. Can you please tell what is the difference between $11 and $27 battery that you have at your shop ?
Can back cover assembled fully as new??? And how much time should I tape my back to be fixed?
You can buy new, well about 1 hour is good

Hello friend, a question after having removed the cover of the phone and having glued it again, can I put my phone in the water?
Not a good idea.. because once you have opened , it is fragile against the water. Unless you go with the service center repairs..

Does the phone remain waterproof afterwards if i replace it from an authorized store?
Nope
That's why I stick with phones that have easy back covers that come off.
Haha.. yep..
Where can you buy a battery that's reliable
No modern smartphones have a removable battery

NO
can i upgrade the battery of a52 4500mah using a 5000mah battery of m52?
Two different battery connectors

i took off the black flappy thing on accident, is that bad...
can you timestamp it?
What glue did u use
B7000
I scared to add heat because I heard it might explode?
Well if you put very excessive heat.. It might, but to remove the back cover, you do not need to heat too much..
make sure the battery is drained first, very little energy left in it is better.
It went well but I got a new phone anyway a few months later
The name of the Glue please
B7000/t7000
if i change the battery, will i lose my data?
No
I replaced battery on my A52s but now phone suddently dies at around 40 50%, and when i plug it is 0%. Could be bad battery ?
Yes, most likely that is the issue. Try genuine battery
My cover not closing..the batter has swollen

you should have replaced the a52s battery with a a53 one, since they are the same size but 500mah more.
