- In this Spanish comprehension practice you will learn Spanish by listening to me reading reviews my friends have written about places they have visited. We will learn to describe experiences people have at restaurants and bars, you will learn how people give compliments in Spanish, how they complain, and how they talk about experiences with their friends. While listening to so many useful Spanish words and phrases taken from native Spanish speakers in the real world, you will also learn to use the Spanish imperfect, and the Spanish past simple. You will learn some keywords that come in handy when you are conversing with someone about an experience you had at a place you ate, you had a coffee, you had a drink, an ice cream, and so on. In this lesson you will also practice or polish your Spanish comprehension skills.

I am very blessed by all your videos i watch/listen to them. like when i wash dishes, fold clothes, cooking, out for a walk, driving to work as often as i can.... i feel like that 1,000 piece puzzle i dumped in my brain is starting to piece itself together, im FINALLY able to see a picture now! Hello Ana, I love your classes, and I need more comprehension classes. You have often encouraged your students to listen to Mexican music to improve their comprehension. However, you have not sung a song in awhile (jejeje). One of my favourite Mexican musical groups is Sentidos Opuestos, however one of their most famous songs "Es amor de papel" is often mistranslated in my opinion as "its a love of paper". Students of spanish know what a papeleria is, and they know what "papel de bańo" is, however I have come across newspaper articles in spanish where "papel" could be translated as "role". So I have always believed "Es amor de papel" means "Its an act of love", or it could be the equivalent of the english "Its a labour of love". Could you clarify and settle this matter for me. Many mexican song titles are easy to translate into english, like "para siempre", but some are open to different interpretstions. "Tonto corazon", and we have all been there, sometimes more than once, could mean "idiot heart" or "foolish heart". Thank you Ana for your wonderful classes. Keep up the excellent work. Hi again I'm grateful and thankful that you do this I like the way you teach vary much please forgive me I think that you should do a complete teaching of the Spanish language starting with a lesson 1 and lesson 2 all the way to whatever lesson is last a way to guarantee from speaking no Spanish to speak in Spanish fluency I know that's a lot of work for free but you have one million subscribers and I think that would help you and a way to keep your subscribers watching I hope this might help you
