Enough with comparing every dancer with Les Twins, .........especially young talent. At his age, the twins were imitating Michael Jackson & building off the creativity of countless other "non famous" hip hop dancers. It clearly paid off. Unfortunately, there's a growing lack of knowledge for the less recognized creators within the dance culture (many who never earned a dime). In fact, most are alive today and, hopefully, proud of what they see globally. Let's be clear though.......... The standard & true leaders of the evolving Hip Hop dance culture are "still" street kids (mostly poor) who have no training, don't rely on choreography or studios, and may be limited to these videos when it comes to accessible resources. Kida has seen & experienced it all. Critiquing any part of his talent with Les Twins is simply off based. Hopefully, the Twins will start to use their celebrity responsibly and keep the growing number of fans informed about "New Style" and the larger culture it belongs to. In fairness, they might be doing so @ every appearance. Props for it. Unfortunately, ....it's not being expressed enough. Checking your fans, if necessary, is important to your legacy , as well as authenticity. No need to draw a line in the sand just yet, but Eminem set an example of respecting "his" culture and understanding commercial success, for some, comes with obligations.
The problem with this type of dancing is that it's hard not to repeat moves or it looks the same or you get stuck in one spot on stage and that's what he struggles with
this was really weak, i can't help but feel like at this point people are just cheering for these internet viral dancers because they're famous... nice song though!
