Libraries are a good way to get outlets and quiet environment and free Wifi. That's what I have been doing, because a lot of Starbucks in Los Angeles don't have outlets anymore.
No doors IS a thing in SD. State parks, as well.
Love the vibe of your journey! 🌊🚗 It’s inspiring to see how you embrace the open road and the minimalist lifestyle. Can't wait to follow along more! 🏞️🌍
Hi! Tip, you can always call the police (non-emergency number) and just ask the dispatcher for their opinion of the place at night. They have the inside scoop. ❤️ you’re videos 🙏. 😊
Go with your instincts! No doors on the toilets is a major red flag 🚩 Loving your journey 😊
Thank you for taking me to such beautiful places I’ll never see, how lovely to spend time on that beautiful beach 🤗 stay safe 🇬🇧
Can't believe I lived in San Diego 11 years and never went to Balboa Park! Thanks for the beautiful video. 💞
Oh my goodness, you missed out! It's amazing!
The ducks look so animated...beautiful🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for addressing that those people were TOO CLOSE to those sweet babies. ❤
It was important to me to highlight that!
Nice music and...that burrito looked SO GOOD😂
Check out Mission Bay and Ocean Beach areas and you will run into a lot more vanlifers and vehicle dwellers. Look into the class action just won by people living in their vehicles against the City....a lot of those signs are temporarily not being enforced because of it.
Very interesting!
👏👏👏👍👌 Power to the people!
Drop dead gorgeous shots of beautiful San Diego… definitely a fav place for me. That burrito looked yummy, the hike in Torrey Pines a 10 & any beach ~ especially La Jolla’s stellar! Sure makes me want to brave the traffic & go! Thanks friend! Stay safe!❤
No bathroom doors, but at least the entire state of California is good about providing public trash cans. Oregon has disappeared their trash cans.😡
I always just sit, watch & feel when I find a potential camp spot. If it doesn't feel right, I move. Trust your gut.
You have a great little stealth nomad rig. Mine is very similar, a white Toyota Highlander with the exact same Thule roof box!👌👍
Happy Trails.
Hi Nomad it’s nice to see you again Awesome views in San Diego 😮😊❤❤ huge Burrito 🌯 😝 look delicious too Ur happy to wow 🤩 the beach is beautiful enjoy yourself in San Diego 😮
Better Buzz yes! My son lives in SD and I’d walk to BB in the morning from my Vrbo 🥰
Found you recently. Enjoying your travels. Don't over think things. You see many strange things on the road.
I'm AA. I tolerate northern winters, but if I could wander, I'd definitely wander around San Diego and other warmer climes during the winter
San Diego County has it all; mountains, deserts & the ocean 👌
@kriskabin Hmmmm🤔 Wasn't aware of mountains in or around SD
I loved San Diego!
Thanks for showing some of La Jolla--almost got to move there years ago for my husbands job, which then fell through. Beautiful. Trust your instincts-I know you do.
It’s a beautiful place. I hope your husband got something else that was just as wonderful!
I didn’t get a chance to comment on your last live, but regarding Yumbo Chocolate, I was able to order it in the U.S. by contacting them directly. They shipped it to me, likely because I mentioned I was in the Army and that it was for my unit. They sent over several boxes! If you reach out and share how much you love their chocolate, they might be open to a free brand deal. Hope this helps!
Another awesome video. Those shots are incredible. I really miss the Ocean. Growing up in Newfoundland, Canada. Those shot really bring back good memories. Thank you.
That’s so cool to hear! Newfoundland is on my list of places to visit.
@@nomad_unknown You definitely wont be disappointed. Unless you go in the middle of winter. Or late fall/early spring where it rains sideways and occasionally from the bottom up. :0
Heehee. Living in San Diego myself and having gone to many local parks in the area, no doors in the bathrooms is a normal thing. Especially with all the sand etc. And shelter island (where you’re parked) is actually a really nice place 😉
I enjoyed your video. I had to call mom in the middle so I missed the live chat. Enjoy your time there. The weather looks perfect.
That is a hard NO on the bathroom. Your nervousness is your inner voice…listen to it.
I’ve seen a few bathrooms where there are no doors, or very short doors lol certain parks are like that….
I really enjoy your journey!! Thanks!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m glad you enjoy it!
I had two nights in the car park near "Dog Beach" and the old pier there in my rented camper van in 2018.👌
There was a fab. Mexican food vendor on the pier.
She had her little dawg dressed up in a tutu!!😂😂
Wow Beautiful views...I must say you really know how to capture the Beauty in nature. BLESSINGS
I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery!
thanks for posting again glad to see you beautiful
love the music ya play
I didn’t know what I wanted for lunch until I saw that burrito
Kugto, to you. Idon t know that could pull this off. ❤😊
my kinda lady my kinda channel great channel and i hope you have a wonderful weekend enjoy and thanks for sharing
You should message Nomad Brad…awesome guy and he knows all of the good Vanlife parkups! Oh and it wasn’t a green chile in your burrito it was a pablano pepper, huge difference. Try hatch green chile, you’ll never want pablano ever again haha
That is a cool san diego sticker🤩 I want one😊
Beautiful area. Nice video. Thanks 😊
You’re welcome! San Diego is such a fun place to explore.
The bathrooms have been like that since the 80’s - it’s to deter druggies from shooting up plus it makes it easier for staff to hose out the stalls and check what’s going on. It has nothing to do with the area - most of the beachside parks have doorless stalls
Love San Diego🌊 My dream is to have a house on the beach❤
Great video!
Thank you for watching!
@nomad_unknown You're welcome! I also just subscribed to your channel so I can catch all your new stuff!
“I mean there’s a man walking a Pomeranian…”😂
Very difficult now finding overnight parking. Super strict rules!
It definitely is a challenge finding overnight parking, and it’s only getting more difficult.
YES, passenger car WITHOUT reflectix, no solar roof panels, does not scream "vanlifer".
And/or you were fortunate.
Econoline custom family window van, tinted windows, WITHOUT reflectix, no roof top solar, never have "knocks" parking late in neighborhoods.
You’re right, those things do make a big difference.
I’m headed to San Diego too. I’m available for coffee ☕️ or a chat. ?
My videos are on a delay. I’ve already left San Diego.
How long have you lived in your car? Are you just choosing to live in your car or are you actually in need of help?
Living in my car is a choice. I have some very recent videos explaining why I’m doing this. 😊
@@nomad_unknown Ok, thanks for the reply. Glad you're ok, God Bless
Yo vivo solo en Brasilia sabes saludo a voses
Cool. I been in San Diego 1 year it is nice. Never lived in so cal before I’m from not cal SF is much colder. Are you from SD? Or just lived here for years as a van lifer??? I went to sunset cliffs it’s beautiful.
I lived north of San Diego for a number of years before becoming a nomad.
@ I see. Well I hope all is well with you. I’ll be watching 👀
I hope you were safe. Using the bathroom.
I think the no doors toilet is because of our homeless population. People were/are camping out in the stalls. Even in the “nicer” areas.
Ohhh
❤😊
Te veo de Brasilia sabes y vivo solo en Brasilia
I always go cheat chat with locals if I have Doubt about the place
That’s a good idea
Think you are on the right way to get more subscribers. You will atract more viewers if you give even more info on places to visit. Just a bit like RVerTV and Traveling Robert are doing.
Then 100k subscribers should easy.
Actually my friend told me just the other day they are running everyone off from San Diego now. GAME OVER.
Yeah, I’m getting mixed messages about what’s going on but it definitely seems like changes are in the works.
I just spent 6 nights there in my van and I didn’t see anybody getting run off. There was 1 night where some people got a “warning” put on their windshield to not camp over night within 500 ft of a residence. But there was recently a lawsuit against the city and they can no longer ticket those for suspected overnight camping. I would just tell people to not stay in the same spot every night, don’t park near houes/apartments and pay attention to the signs restricting parking during certain hours.
Hey San Diego! Welcome to the neighborhood, just don’t stay too long, JK, but not really. You know how movie trailers always show the best scenes, that’s like this video. SD is nice but the whole movie is overpriced😂stay home.
No doors to keep the drugies away
That’s what I was thinking
It seems to keep normal people away to0.
California is just way to expensive for my budget
If you had all the money in the world, would you still live there?
@michaelwarren202 me personally no I wouldn't.
@@DavidLewis-q4s same. I like the Ocean. But only the ocean I grew up on. The complete other side of the continent from where Christine was.
I would definitely live on the beach on Coronado Island if I had the money. I love 21/2 hours away and often drive there just for the day.
@@paperslace769 eh looks crazy expensive there.
Thank you for pointing out the irresponsibility of “gender reveal “party trash. It’s never appropriate to bring balloons or any kind of party paraphernalia to the coast. In addition, and most importantly, maybe is people on the beach harassing the wildlife. They are breaking the law. You must stay a minimum of 50 yards from marine mammals. It doesn’t take much for these animals to feel threatened and grab a dog or child or someone slower than them… Which is most people in the sand.😆
.
That ‘hike’ at Torrey Pines is really a walk, not a hike.
Ty for sharing ❤ safe travels
