The subtle yet bold explanations of this space of living has truly baffled me into thinking this video is not only an introduction into the mind of an artist but an invitation into a world of ever progressing imagery, light and space. A space that can allow for a journey and advocate adventure and yet be grappled and handled and like a mother that just simply cradles the needy youngling. Truly beautiful and breathtaking imagery that is simply smelt and felt through the video sharing platform we call RUclips. Really my heart physically extents, moves, stretches, leaps out to take hold and posses the fulfilment I receive from the mind filling, space accommodating, educational experience I receive from these videos. A truly textural experience.
I loved this look. You can actually see Japanese inspirations everywhere and yet it's still a modern home. It also feels old at the same time, like it's been there since mid-century, which is a cool vibe for it.
I hope you are right about Australian architecture and quantity making way for more quality of spaces and build ... this renovation is a beautiful, elegant example of quality in finishes, light, and experiences for its owners, I imagine. Thank you for sharing it.
💖LOVE IT!💖 Seeing those jalousie windows was a blast-in-the-past for me. I had those in the house I lived in decades ago in Florida. Now living in TX, I never see that style here. They were certainly popular in Florida. I don't think I would return to that window style again simply because they're more time consuming to clean. Thank you for another great video. I watch them for ideas in concept. Very inspiring. What inspired me in this particular video was the floating aspect of some of your interior designs. And then I absolutely love the bath on the balcony. Thank you for sharing about the Japanese culture's attitude toward bathing as a spiritual experience. Beautiful.🤩 I was doing a study in my devotions this morning about water. Did you know water has a structural quality about it that gives it memory? It's not "if walls could talk" but more like "if water could talk." Dr. Emoto's experiments prove it to be true! More evidence of water's memory as fact is found in Orin Therapy a/k/a Urotherapy or Shivambu. AMAZING!!
This is beautiful but can sometime tell architects they need to specify counter-height stools - not bar-height stools - for island seating! We see it on nearly every project on The Local Project. Everything else is so considered it really stands out
It's architect talking to architect. Bit like some art curator conversations I've overheard. But of course the difference here is art curators don't conceive the work. It seems like these two at least listened to the client. I'd like to see what changes are made a few years later as this aesthetic can be hard to live up to.
Am I the only one who noticed the tiny sink in the kitchen island? Why is it so tiny? Also that dining table looks uncomfortable. Overall a lot of jargon to describe pretty standard design elements 😅
It's a beautiful house. But please, turn your taps off! I sincerely hope you actually used all that water for something purposeful (or even ritualistic) after you shot the video.
It's an outdoor tub. Also called an 'onsen' buddy! And even so, it's not exclusive to Japan... there's nothing 'diversed' about this bathing experience. The architects should let their work do the talking. It is a well crafted beautiful house that really doesn't require them to justify their approach with nonsensical architectural jargon.
No. Outdoor bath is called “Rotenburo” which literally translate to outdoor bath. “Onsen” is hot water directly pumped out of the ground. (has to be warm), but you can have it inside or outside, just has to be coming from the ground. Heating up the tap water is not Onsen, even if it is outside
I noticed you had solar panels. I cannot tell you how many times I have turned away EVERY salesman who's approached me to buy into those. Not sure about other parts of the world, but here in the USA we have absolutely no infrastructure for disposal of those panels. Here in the USA, we're famous for not thinking things through to their final end. EV forms of transport is another perfect example of pushing an idea, an invention, onto its citizens fraught with issues much to the detriment of the consumer. No thank you.👎 Word to the Wise: When ideas present themselves, we need to be listening moreso to what they are NOT saying rather than only to what they're saying. Always follow the money before buying into any idea ESPECIALLY if it's going into your body.🙏

This is really amazing. The older I get the more I appreciate the look of these calming wood finishes

The indoor and outdoor tubs are truly so simple, and stunning.
Beautiful, home. I love the outdoor tub. I miss japan so much this is such a perfect mix of Japanese and western styles. Amazing.
Love the wood and organic design 😊
Awesome Ideas ✨
It’s amazing how the house blends traditional and modern styles so seamlessly.
Amazing House, fit, minimal, warmful
Beautiful. I love the design of this house.
I feel the tranquility 😊
Beautiful design! Such an incredibly calming space.
Would have been nice to see more of the landscape!
Boo he wore the shoes from outside 😂

Perfectly designed and perfectly executed. Exquisite.
Absolutely stunning space.

Beautiful project!
This video is way too short! I need a much more thorough examination of this amazing house!!
Incredibly tasteful project. Bravo!
Well done!
Es elegante, compleja y sencilla a la vez, acogedora también.
Amazing house. Beautiful
This place is an A+ in my book.
thank you for video

Haha, I noticed this too. You need at least 12" from the top of the seat to the top of the eating surface!
Nice color wood
The camera Cinematic Is Breathtaking. I'm not only learning some architecture but also the video shoot.
What a lovely home. The story and narration is spot on as usual.
Precioso me enamoré de su bañera de madera es tan preciosa y relajante es hermoso.
More exterior shots next time please

designedbyai AI fixes this. Japanese-inspired home tour architecture.
Can you please tell me the name of the record player

Anyone have a source on those wall sconces
Beautiful house but if it is a natural park, why not preserve it? I just dont understand.
It seems too dark. I know the Byron area, it is full of light. It seems very textural, which I like. But it doesn't feel warm.
"diversity of bathing experience" 😶 so, basically, you can bath outside
Finally a house for humans.
Love Teriyaki house
Very beautiful, but sometimes Iit feels like there is nowhere to move around in Japanese(inspired) designs. Calm and tranquil but very uptight.

Take baths after one showers!

Or you could put it on mute and enjoy.

Nothing special, too dark, sterile, not cozy.
