Josh, I've been looking for a role model in the HR domain, I did an MBA in HR in 2021 and tech is something I am very passionate about. I wasn't able to work for a couple of months due to a personal responsibility but now I'm again building back my industry knowledge and technology updates. Machine learning applies to large amounts of data collected from millions of other companies with different situations and most of them still work with non optimal hiring processes. Can ML models learn to make the right decision on imperfect data and apply it to your specific situation? And can the company that sells this solution prove that it works? I have not seen such a prove. I see that ML models want to support the full market but fall short on specific areas. I work in IT and the models i tested do not cover it that well.
It's true, a predictive model has to be tested and refined, many of the predictive tools I"ve seen in HR don't work well because they're first generation and don't leverage neural networking.
