Not just birds but photographing or simply observing anything in nature depends on research and understanding the behavior, habitat and times of year they are around. I have spent most of my 62 year lifetime studying the deer (first as a hunter now as a photographer), wildflowers and other creatures that live in my area. I can walk through a field or woods at any time of year and have a pretty good idea of what will be there. Then it is a matter of finding them. Great tips in your video.
