i absolutely enjoyed this video. I just made a wig with a dome cap using the glue gun method. My wig fit but I found that after using the glue the cap is not very flexible. Also I have an undercut so my wig doesn't stay as secure as I like even though I did put the elastic strap in my wig. Also I love what you said about baby hair, I am not a fan of laying down edges because I do not want to lose my edges. Once again thanks for this video.

Wow.............Am glad I came across your channel,i do make wig for myself with the dome cap with elastic but I bought the one without elastic and I have been redoing the wig coz it was too bulky and it just won't close perfectly,so that kind of wig cap,what can it be used for?braids or pixie hair? My mother has a large head and her closure wig with strap doesn’t fit. It was so disappointing after hours of work. What’s the best cap for large heads?

I wish she would have told us what is the purpose of the tab in the back of some wig caps. Some wigs have a tab in the back... why?

When I make my eigs, I glue them on the head. But it is always too small. Should I glue tracks on the cap while on head ?

@@Lehostbeauty I may have explained it wrong. I t-pin the cap to the head, then I glue tracks on. I ended up taking tracks off wig cap since it was too small. I put wig cap on my own head n glued tracks. This time it fit.
Can you ventilate? If so would you recommend someone starting out with making wigs to aspire to ventilating?

What Dome Cap would you recommend for making braided wigs ? What brand ? Have you heard of a tool that keeps the part straight, other than a duck clip ? I've seen it used in another wig video but I can't find the video
They now have don’t care that are has braids attached to it they were if you crochet braids to the cap.

im constructing a wig for my client. shes. a little extra and likes alot of hair...beyonce level...alot.shes geting a lace closure but she wants a breathable cap. told her the breathable cap isnt as strong but she insists she needs her unit this way. it gets hot where we live and she says her scalp cant deal. whats is the strongest wig cap that i can use to hold all these extra long bundles with the cap ripping or splitting and still giving her what she feels she needs?

I like dome caps but how can i customize for ear tabs? I made 2 wigs on the mannequin head and they came out tooo small when i put it on my head. So do i need to glue tracks on cap with the cap on my head? I have alopecia in the front so i want the wig to cover edges.

Please let me ask you a question How do you measure your circumference That will determine whether your hair in small medium or large small is 20-21 medium is 22-22.5 large is 23 -23.5 this is how you start making wigs. If you are making the wigs on a small manikin head wig will not fit you properly. So measure your head then mankind head make sure they are the same size then you will get a better fit

I like the video but please avoid standing in front of a mirror. The people in the reflection were very distracting. I would love to see how to make scalp in the crown of the wig for those who like pixie short styles.
