    The X90L is amazing. It's what Kristi and I are enjoying right now, too! Can't wait for your take on it. Oh man, I loved this video! Seeing other people happy with their system makes me happy, and I'm honored to have been a part of your journey. Looking forward to your TV review!

      I would love to do a review on the 75" x90L but that's not my market. I will be doing a 4k Restoration release on 4k Blu-ray Sunday. It's been awhile since I did a 4k release review. There just hasn't been anything that has peaked my interest except for all the James Cameron 4K films coming out. But because all three of them got pushed back I just canceled all of them. I'll pick him up on sale at some point. Not really in a rush, from what I hear, it's kind of a disaster.

    Ok. I started out with a Yamaha A2A. Then moved to a Denon 960 which was a step down I found out. Then went to a Denon 3800H with 4 sub outs. Then bought a Cinema 50 in my main theater and then a Rz50 in my music room and an Anthem MRX 1140 in my other theater room with R700’s. Definitely upgrade the receiver when you can and the sub. Those subs will give out after certain Dymamics. SVS PB series like the 2000 and up will give you good dynamics price wise. I have dual PB2000’s in one of my theaters and PB 4000’s in my main theater.

      @@PIPERBOYWILLIAMS I'll be upgrading in a few years when we make our final decision on selling or rebuilding on house. Until then I'm okay where I am at this stage! It's really only ran on the weekend as during the week I'm too busy to really enjoy myself..

    Cool video but why didn't you center your center channel?! Only thing that really bothers me lol.

      😂 well it's really simple where my center channel goes there's a piece of wood that separates the 2 cubby holes. I can't remove it because it's a part of the top that holds the TV! 🤷🏽‍♂️ I'll be getting a new media stand soon but for right now I don't need it. Therefore I don't need to replace it.

    Awesome video! I have worked in the AV industry for 18 years, it's nice to see someone with a reasonably priced and obtainable setup. I have been very happy with my Sony X900F from several years ago, the image processing and colors are excellent on Sony televisions.

      Thank you I love my Sony and setup it gets the job done... Family movie night is great with the new setup. Rewatching and feeling the surround sound just brings me back to my childhood enjoying movies with my dad! Thanks for swinging by and subscribing I hope you enjoy the content.

    I agree, Nick! I love my budget 7.6.2 set up. Refurbished receiver, refurbished projector, used speakers and used subs. I've never experienced a high end system....ignorance is bliss for me😊.
    I dig the channel, keep up the great work!

      Thank you! I'm all about saving a dollar or two! While my bows speakers hanging from my ceiling may not be pleasing to some people, I love it.. It gets the job done. Thanks for swinging by!

      Thanks for a budget setup it works for us. Once we move though the big boy gear is coming in to play 😂..

    You definitely need to get ceiling speakers to properly evaluate atmos sounds in movies. You’re missing a lot of sound with that setup. Definitely atleast get a middle row of ceiling speakers and front heights.

      @@PIPERBOYWILLIAMS my middle speakers are mounted on my ceiling, I have a 5.1.2. setup I'm well aware of how to set them up! Therefore I can give a proper assessment on the surround sound of any movie thanks for swinging by

    why because it comes down to the recording

    • @movie_av_impulse
      @movie_av_impulse  3 месяца назад

      That is somewhat true but also not true. It depends on a lot of things. Like how much power are you putting to them? What is the max volume before you start getting distortion? It doesn't really come down to how they're recorded. It really comes down to how much power you're pushing. As a kid my dad had a pair of Fisher speakers if you can remember that brand 😂 and after he was done with those he bought a pair of Martin Logan's and to me as a kid while the Martin Logan's were extremely good at high volumes at low volumes. I just really couldn't tell the difference. But I was a kid
