I loved when he said "it's quarrying time" and and started quarrying all over the place.
I've been had this actually happened lol
How does this have 300 likes? I’ve lost faith in humanity

I bet whoever built that deepslate storage slice is pretty passionate about storage tech
I absolutely love the nether perimeter for the single ice track.
Peak technical gameplay
The irony of the quarry being better on the server than the main storage lmfao. Also the cubic cameo was hilarious. Nice video Mr. Basically :)
or Mr. Literally
I thougth they build a new one like half a year ago ? what's the problem with that one ?
@@fifi7354 I suppose it is quite laggy with a lot of unlocked hoppers(but that shouldn’t be big a problem with lithium afaik) and it breaks a lot I think.
@@fifi7354 Main storage? What's wrong is it's the laggiest thing on the server. You can't play while that thing is running.

Grian and Scar: "And we took that personally"
This is the greatest "we did a bit of mining off camera" video of all time, the amount of diamond beacons you could make for shits and giggles and still have plenty to spare is insane
It's all shots and giggles until someone shiggles
Damn. Quarry tutorial? With troubleshooting guide? Amazing. I wish there were guides for all slimestone machines because they’re just a pain to fix.
There is. Destroy it and build it again! Its like legos
@@youtubeSuckssNow ):
JKM you are an absolute legend! There was a serious lack of any quarry tutorials on youtube and this was very much needed. I just started prepping for my first ever single player quarry a few days ago so the timing was impeccable! Thank you good sir!
I have to say I find the nether perimeter absolutely hilarious.
I love wavetech’s
Commitment to clowning on raysworks and shulker craft
Thank you for making this tutorial. I always typically messed up building that.
I think I'll give it a try in my Skyblock world of course. 🙂
when you need to clear out a bunch of air to build in
Make sure you put in plenty of storage for all those air blocks!

No cap this is actually gold quality content that we really are missing these days
Chad polish man explains advanced redstone engineering. Truly one of the redstone moments of all time 🗿
Always crazy to think about how far Minecraft and it’s community has come. Props to you and everyone who helped.
A wise man once said, "Storage Tech is my passion."
You’ve got yourself a new sub. This is one of if not THE most insane things I’ve ever seen on on MC. All of you are extremely skilled. Good job to you all!
Finally an upload after 7months
Also great vid
Yup
I’ve been considering a quarry in my (mostly) single player world, just for the giggles. This has likely pushed me over the edge. Awesome tutorial. Right up there with Pixiel’s (spelling?) guide to eating worlds, and it will be just as referenced!
I want to do one but I just keep it small since my pc is not a powerful one like evreone. I will do it for a small area
Same but it's such a massive project. Doing it on my own would take over a year of on/off progress and that would probably be for something 1/4 the size of the quarry in the video.
I wish I had friends who loved the technical side of this game as much as I do. Having an extra 5-6 dedicated players would speed up a project like this immensely.
u should add chapters to this btw, also even though im (probably) never going to make a quarry, this film was anything but a waste of time and that desu quarry is truly something special
also i feel ur pain with python, i was also coerced into using it for a litematic analysis based program coz litemapy
20s squad les goooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Great video! I'm almost finished building a ~290 wide quarry (miscounted lol, should've been ~260), and this video showed me some things to keep in mind. Thank you!
The goat . Thanks for the great content, I always learn a lot and it’s crazy to see that people like u can revolutionize Minecraft Mechanics
Thr build at the beginning amd the quarry make me envious.
I would like to have the same stuff in my world but all of this takes so much time.
Very impressive.
Very informative and well edited video. And enjoyable, some videos in the tech community are very informative and have a tendency to get a bit boring, but I think you achieved to make something really good🙌🏼
Awesome video! Launching my own quarry today after a few months of prep. Thanks for the guide!
Really excellent showcase and tutorial. Not seen any tech content like this for the new updates before, so this is very much needed as a reference material!
Very nice video. Great job. It's basically ultimate.
45:25 aaah yes... The real programmer naming convention... It warms my heart!
The actual mechanics of the miner are impressive enough, but the capacity to store all of it using the vanilla storage devices... Insane.
Bro how are only 12k people subscribed to you. You are a genius
have been thinking about making either a world eater or a quarry on my single player world and this came at the perfect time
20:55
The pistons are pushing the gravel over the edge
This is only possible on the first few layers, as you will eventually have a buffer of exactly 12 blocks everywhere, and the bottom block is moved first, giving the gravel a platform it it were pushed.
notice the area where the gravel fell from, there was an air block behind the block the gravel was on top of, so that block was not pushed for the gravel to stand on.
I think the gravel fell there because normaly it would have a larger shield but when was launched it was only a few blocks(caves and stuff) which caused the gravel to fall short of where it is supposed to land
you are alive! good to see
Great video JKM. Absolute master. Its also really good to see how you give credit to everyone! It's a breath of fresh air in youtube lately. Just subscribed and hoping to see your next video!
I’m just ten minutes in and already feel my illusions on adequacy melting away… great vid.
Lag friendly! Gawddamn
1 hour long video right when I find myself with 1 hour worth of time I love you JKM
It's crazy to see the newest automations in auto mining tech. So cool. Just incredible.
You guys are proving the fact that every generation becomes more insane (tech wise)
Probably what happened with the gravel was there just so happened to be a void below it (likely due to the tunnel bore on the bottom) and the gravel was hanging on because there was still a deepslate block below it, but when the block pushers that delete water/lava pushed blocks the gravel was pushed over because there was a void below them after being pushed. I'm surprised it didn't happen again, because that was a very big area quarried. Great content by the way! Wish I was in a good technical server like this!
That was my thought too. I'm assuming that it didn't happen again because once the quarry has run for a while, the liquid removers were pushing a full 12 blocks each, so any displaced gravel would have fallen in front of that lower flying machine.
Before you start removing the immovable blocks I would recommend to build Ilmango's easy warden remover. It's easy to make, and the only hard part is finding a shrieker. If your wandering, it works in 1.20.1.
Wow, v2.1 and this video dropping just a few weeks after I've already built and launched v2.0 in my singleplayer world. Nice video, and so far my experience with the quarry design has been excellent.
this video makes me wants to finish my ice farm showcase
It's amazing what people are able to do in Minecraft
i had to watch this video twice because i fell asleep jajajaja, great video
No, this will not work on bedrock. There's a lot of factors to why, but one i can say for certain is that it uses TNT duping.
amazing how the quarry has these failsafes, so even if you mess up while building its relatively easy to repair and get back up running.
one question: is it okay to unload the chunks the quarry is running in? Will something break if the machine unloads partially?
Unloading the quarry while it's running will very likely result in flying machines getting stuck at different y-levels and thus probably crash at things you don't want them to crash at, all that good stuff.
Always have back-ups, and always load the quarry while it's running!
Unloading a quarry when it's running is an instant death sentence. NEVER unload a quarry when it's running
@@JKM115 hey, why are all quarries built in the mesa??
Thanks for improving almost one hour of my life.
So Basically
on my private server i told my frinds im gona build a storage system requiring 50.000 iron they told my your insane
you: i need 100.000.000 deepslate
awnser: sure
Holy shit the madman did it again
Ultimate™️
yet another banger❤❤❤
27:17 İTS greates Mesa biome ever seven there are magnificent mountains, wooded mountains 🤯😍
How do people have time for this. DAYUM THATS SICK
that dead bush texture pack pls share
It's when you need to load your storage in pieces that you know you've got a lot of items...
20:20 best reaction lol
This is one of the best videos for TMC out there I reckon... really good in-depth explanation and example!
(p.s. does this work in bedrock?)
1. For the dead bush txtpack, join Wave discord, link in the description
2. I want you to remember one thing. If there's anything that looks even remotely complex, it's never going to work on bedrock.
@@JKM115 Thanks!
Ok sorry for asking about bedrok it was a joke
Yes of course your passion is storage tech
every Wavetech video is like this
20:31 The gravel probably fell because there was a difference in thickness in the protective layer such that the gravel was pushed forwards while the deepslate below was not, causing it to fall. This wouldn't reoccur because the shield has to be incomplete.
just a thought; what if u used cubicmetre’s infinibore to make the bottom trench
When you're so advanced you don't even mention all the update suppressed portals
I think i know why the gravel fell down. I cant really tell from the video but i dont think the concrete wall went all the way down. i think a row was missing on the bottom. you can kinda see at 18:28. and that would cause the gravel to get pushed but not the block bellow it so it would fall. this would also only effect the first layer so it explains why it did not happen again
Always dropping the best content
Yeah just casually make a perimeter in the nether, not a problem
23:51 ooo is that a challenge..?
sheesh this video is popping off
Not waste of time, verry intresting and educational 😁
technically you don't necessary have to aim that high when using the cannon, or you'll get sent to orbit quite easily (y1000)
Ik, but also I noticed that if I look too low, I'll get sent only like 30 blocks and then instantly stop. If I'm looking a bit higher, this has a lower chance of happening
@@JKM115 what is the pitch for too low?
I usually just look at 0 pitch and nothing goes wrong
This is the real Eater Of Worlds
Ayo wtf i just realized you are Polish my friend (from the system language lol), pozdrawiam!
Jak powiedział pewien znany Polski mędrzec
"Polska górom"
nice, ive been wanting to build a quarry for quite some time now, but i have to finish my 2k x 1k nether perimeter first so probably wont get tto it for some more time xD
U be famous
If you are OK with using a hacked client (utility mod) for its rendering options then they have a feature usually referred to a block esp which can dynamically highlight any set of selected blocks and or block entries to show where non movable blocks are. This way you usually get a nice way of highlighting blocks you need to remove without having to wait for a python script.
wouldnt call it a waste of time, more educational than school ngl,
yo this is actually fire congratulations
also, just a question, were EOL farms patched?
yes, in 1.20 Mojang fixed light suppression.
me watching the vid while building a perimerter (i already know what the next project is about to be)
Do you have that cone dead bush resource pack shared somewhere? I like it
These americans 😭😭 didnt had enough taking half of mexico back in the day and now they destroyed the entire country to make space for more MacDonalds 😭😭
yooooo the goat is back , what happened with you why didnt upload videos for a while
20:45 so basically why the gravel fell was because of the piston pushing in the quarry machine to get rid of water
You could scare a factorio player you lovely mad bastard!
Hi! Im new to this channel! What plugins, mods or datapacks do you use to reduce your lag? *that build is so badass btw*
At 34:00 you say you can load the tunnel bore yourself if it’s short enough, how far can you load things?
on single player, just your client render/simulation distance. on a multiplayer server, the render/simulation distance in the server settings. If it's a server you own, you can change it in the server settings.
Incredible thanks a lot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥love your videos
Basically ™ + Ultimate™ = Basically Ultimate ™ ❤
Love the video JKM!
Bro is chilling in the good times he is still chilling in Level: 2016
What happened with the gravel was the pistons pushing which are intended for destroying liquids pushed the gravel into an air gap with no floor below it pretty sure
Do you folks think that there should be better mass storage options available in the game?
I dunno, maybe some kind of expandable multiblock "chest". Something that does not require to have thousand of individual chest around and that would be magnitudes more lag friendly
Love you JKM :3
Muito overpower Renato não tem como
They actually used entire shulker box of dimond for random stuff
When did you recorded the cubic granting the ultimate word to be used clip was it yesterday ?
Wow. Now I know how to feel like a NASA engineer working with rockets.
Super curious bow people keep this area loaded, I notice none of the machines have dedicated afk spots and slime blocks don't chunkload itself, do you have to build nether portal chunkloaders every few chunks or just use a player AFK'ing in the area?
Amazing video!
It's beautiful
Is it possible to use the block finder program for waypoints for journeymap instead of voxal or xeros?
"chill out a bit" goes and makes a 500 million block perimter
