Wow. Dude I just done this in 5 days. Was amazing- but the last stretch (loads of big rubble) towards Swansea was gnarly and unrideable. I rode it on a gravel bike with 50mm's. Overall very enjoyable and got to see the breadth of Wales in one go!
Another great route, it looks amazing despite the rain, your films really give that out in the wilderness feel. When are you coming to the South West? No stealth camping necessary (on Dartmoor at least) and plenty pasties too!
Either way will have its challenges and hike a bikes but id say just go with which ever way the wind is blowing. But if you follow this route from south to north then at the bike park at mile 42 on my Komoot you will just have to avoid the single track and take the fire road. You dont really need to even go that way really its just there is a cafe and toilets there
sorry to be a pain but i’m a bit of a technophobe…. When i press the link i’m taken to the full map . How do i get a route from that?Is it a matter of paying then ? to get an actual route
@@davidvickery9619 The route is free to get the gpx from ridewithgps.com/trips/90304433 Just click the "more" button in top left corner then select export file then choose whichever format is best. gpx normally.

great video, fantastic :) oh whats the difference between your route and the Katherine moore route?
Would you suggest doing it the opposite way if wind is stable and tailwind from the South?
Great preview of the route, thank you
