220v. Можно просто взять один диод 1n4007 с одной стороны, резистор 0.5w 42k или 47k (до 100k) с другой и светодиод (led white или blue) посредине с соблюдением полярности, работает нормально. Для 110-127v попробуйте 39k (42k) если светит слабо уменьшайте до 27k - 22k, лучше 1w. Резистор греется немного и его вообще можно заменить на конденсатор 400-600v 100n-440n (начинайте пробовать с меньшего номинала) и паралельнот C включите R от 100k до 2 MOhm для разряда C после вынимания из розетки. Паралельно светодиоду иногда включают стабилитрон 0.5 - 1w 3.7-12v (выводы не обрезайте, это улучшит его температурный режим) и электролитический конденсатор 16v 0.1 - 47 uF, чтобы убрать мерцание, но это вовсе не обезательно.

One diode 1n4007 (700v-1000v) or 1n4004 (400v) is enough there, two need to be installed 1n4003 (200v)

There is no need for two diodes, the guy that posted the video does not understanding what diodes even are.
Better use 2 resistors or use a condensator as well otherwise the resistor taket over 0,5w and gets really hot.

Formula for LED resistor is R = (Supply voltage - LED voltage) / LED ampere. So, R = (220-2)/0.02 = 11k but when I connect 11k with glass type transparent LED then it fuses after sometime. Why?
Try 180k register or 220k register, its fuses due to low register value.
@@manmeetandroid No even higher resistor fails. The main reason is power factor of LED as they are capacitive load. Using a diode resolves tge problem.
@@debojitacharjee Actually LED is one kind of diode only material used for making those are phosphorus, but due to excess heat it fuses you can create more stable circuit using addition of 2 diode (which will make half rectifier) in unidirectional way,( R-D-LED-D).
@@manmeetandroid not necessary, additikn of only one diode in series will protect the led. Led is a diode but cannot be used as a diode because it has high resistance and when used in parallel (as a load) with AC, works as a capasitive resistance because it's made from PN/NP type semiconductor. Any capacitive load on AC will cause a negative phase shift which will give a -ve power factor value. So the formula P=IV*PF will be applicable and if we use a resistor R with the led then the value of R will be R=(V^2)*PF/P but without knowing the PF we won't able to find the value of R for the led. If we use a diode then the AC will become pulsing DC but not AC, so the led won't behave like a capacitive load. Then the value of PF will become 1, and we can easily calculate the value of R and that will protect the led also.
