Thank you this helps so much found you through the fb group you have taught me allt this has been my first time really going to tournaments and where I spent money on a good deck and after the hit I was sad but honestly you've been giving me so much hope and made me want to innovate and actually go to my locals keep up the good work and I love the side decking video idea that helps tons thank you so much
That’s great to hear! Purrely is such a good deck. Keep playing in your locals you’ll get better after each one you attend. Which Purrely version has been your favourite so far?
@jakequinsee I tried really hard to make fairy work but it felt bad I just have been trying to make something original I feel like the decks potential isn't being used to the fullest but I liked the vers w small discard engine with handtraps best but I've experimented w genex ally birdman for herald plays shaddoll for winda for extra floodgating paired w noir which I do like it's just hard the extra does feel kinda tight at times I get why some of the deck is set standard because it answers so many meta problems that's why I really liked your list it felt different w the handtrap ratios and crossout that's something I've also experimented with since it's at 1 in ocg I feel like it should be more abused by us here
@@jakequinsee it was on my radar for a while, before epurrely noir came out, but I pulled purrelyly in the OTS pack and decided it was a sign to make the whole deck. I've won locals with it, 30+ players with it twice in a meta with a lot of branded and labyrinth. All in all, I've been copying your deck lists to the exact ratios minus the 5.0 list that used Thrust. It's a really fun deck going from being a traptrix player, to a post nerf Tearlaments player, then Kash, and now Purrely. I can say this deck feels like one of the most consistent monsters I've pilotted in a very long time. I've tried the dark world package for free discards as well as the crossout idea and I really very much enjoy being able to utilize crossout designator! The deck is strong, it's always consistent with it's hands and it feels less oppressive to play with the local players compared to kash for sure, despite it potentially being a better deck this format. And PS, they aren't dogs xD
Ive being siding double Fenrir for going 2nd think it's really good at putting pressure on a board. And once done the important searches for engine if don't get drolled can search the 2nd fenrir for extra discard fodder
I really wanted to main 3 fenrir in this. It’s always something I try to add in. I like the pressure it puts on your opponent and with fenrir + book/Dim barrier it’s so hard to deal with.
I played an 8 round event with nearly an exact same list and won 8-0 with 5 purrely mirrors. Lost every dice roll aswell, crossout was absolutely the best card for stopping barrier books hand traps and going first in the mirror calling purrely is pretty strong if you can stop the lyly xyz effect.
Yes felt really strong, looking forward to siding video, a lot of purrely had thrust package so going second post side I took alot of hand traps to respect thrust into dbarrier
I was even siding 3 Shifter because how broken it is against combo decks. Idk if its needed but it feels so unfair because it also stops droll so you just go Purrely into Happiness, search follow up, zeus them and pass on 2-4 mat Zeus Also when talking abt unfair cards… How do you feel abt D Fissure in the Side Deck post Kashtira Ban? Going 1st its pretty busted as it again stops Droll but also stops them from playing.. Saw some OCG lists abusing that one
Love it! I was ready to say your losing to contact "c", but put the ip on last card, good, i myself put into the main deck, just because i don't think anima is worth, and sometimes is a extra interaction. The Robin is kinda of mixing filling, because is awful against kashtira, but is good against many other deck's, gonna try. I playing contact c on side, because i realize that a lot of deck's just don't have the out, like infernoble knights or chimera branded, even despia, but i think in this decklist you don't have the space. Another thing to consider, i don't know if intended to play YCS São Paulo, but here in Brazil we have a lot of @Ignister player's, and Marincess players, because of our economy condition is budget option, maybe not be a problem in the top cut, but is be a big tournament, maybe the biggest YCS in south america, is to consider something like Santa Claws, but again space is hard...
Come age of overlord there being 2 free slots in the extra cause of sp and the current need to play azalea + toolbox vanishing is the definition of power creep moment lmao
I got LOADS more playtesting to do but in my 1 and only round (had a family event), I bricked both G1 and G2 on this build. Nothing but non-engine was in my hand so I can't even say this build was horrendous for me but it felt so badddd. That round was against mannadium and he just had the nuts both games, completely drollable hands but I had no droll.
yeah. he had bystial both times and the light visa so my book of moon just fizzled. Still, i got to go first both games and didnt see a single engine card :
Because slacker doesn’t need to detach to prevent being destroyed by battle so then you can make a Zeus. If you use fucho you then detach two to prevent it not being destroyed in battle then you can make Zeus with only 1 material. If you go for downerd on top then that will just get dealt with.
You can IP into Azalea, you get one pop off the Azalea summon (any card they control not limited to monsters). They can't out Azalea with card effects, so they have to attack over it (or kaiju/lava golem etc), and you can banish a spell to pop the attacking monster. Donner you have to tribute donner on your turn to pop a monster.
@@jakequinseeI like Imperm just cause it can kind of act as half a Book of Moon if you just need to chip away at a board going second. I understand Mourner and like it, but I think the board breaking ability of Imperm is very useful. Especially cause I think Purrely is amazing if it can go all out going first, and needs the most assistance breaking a board going second. It can do it, but it needs some help.

it’s probably better to have 3 triple tactics thrust and one dimensional barrier in the side. Just my thoughts though! Everything else looks great!
I do like that however if you’re opponent doesn’t activate any monster effects you’re left with crossouts and thrusts.
I like the idea of crossout, what about an anti-spell in the side?
Anti spell doesn’t really hurt us unless we don’t open any quick play spells. I’d like to fit DD Crow in if anything in the side.
