Skyscraper is one of my all time favourite albums
They should release a properly remastered CD of this album. That would make me listen to it all day. Simply a hard rock masterpiece- that was mastered too politely.

I still play along with all songs on Skyscraper to this day, Greg's playing was so locked into the meter on that album. I use it to practice time keeping. I mean just jam to Hina and Perfect Timing (the pun here is on par!) Mental note, keep those triplets going over 4 on the floor leading into the chorus baby! Absolutely love it, thanks Gregg!
Gregg recorded Skyscraper in the Studio by himself with a Dr.Beat metronome and charts. That's hard to do with no other accompanying music.
I've played along to that record 100s of times. So many great drum tracks.
Allways wondered about the breake in «Bottom Line». Great to hear!!!

As someone who teaches drums I love the fact how he explains it. He Sings it. I will say.If you can't sing it , you can't play it!!

I see a few people being a bit……sarcastic. I just want to toss a few items out there.
So, this drum set in most other drummers hands would be laughable. And well deserving of comments. But not in his hands and feet. When I saw him in clinic back in the early 90s, I thought that kit was big.
And a couple things you need to understand about this immense piece of musical equipment. It really is kind of a collaboration and advertising for DW drums. But what’s so unique about it? Is that Terry can change keys,. By switching to a different bass drum, and then going to a certain set of toms he can play melodies in various keys. Truly amazing.

It won’t happen, but a Skyscraper double album special release would be awesome. A remastered version of the album and a second album with the original demos would be a dream. Billy Sheehan said he has the original demos and prefers it over the finished product. He also said he has pro shot concert footage of the Eat ‘Em and Smile tour! It sucks that Dave has given up on his solo catalogue. There is also the problem of rock music sales. Anyhow, I wish that band had gone on longer. Also, Gregg should invite Dave to go out on tour with Ringo’s Allstar band! Thanks!
