Was thinking of Dora for a future adventure, just for a paddle not a fish. You've made me see just how good the spot is in there. Thanks!

@milportadventures it is nice. If your using a pedal drive kayak watch out for all the submerged trees. Also be heavy on the aeroguard I was I long pants and long shirt and could see them around me.

@mightykayakgeek4299 thanks for the heads-up. Mozzies love me, so I'll lather up before I head off.

Hey mate, I fished there the other week and launched down and the bridge, but realised it was too far of a peddle up the creek to get to where I wanted, where abouts along the creek do you launch?

That one is the Profishent Humbug (cicada)in MB (matt black). I change out the back treble for Atomic Assist/stinger hooks with no skirt size #10 or #8. I do swap the other treble for Gamakatsu ones but not straight away.
I do have some of my own cicadas I airbrush myself. I don't generally sell them as Personally, the Profishent ones swim better.
If you're from around Lake Macquarie, you get them from Morriset Bait and Tackle.

I know of fish being poisoned by fertilizers running its creeks after a lot of rain. But back then sewage could of been an issue with lots of rain as well. I have caught a flathead before in the are right next to the dam wall. Lots of mullet swimming around all the way up. It was a good little adventure though, Thinking of exploring Cockle Creek next once the water cleans up and stops flowing from all the rain we have had.

Two decades ago saw many huge bream floating in the water poisoned perhaps by sewerage in the same creek.
