Yes indeed! Pennsylvania is home to a bunch of the oldest coasters in America! A few at Kennywood and Thunderhawk at Dorney are all near the top spot...but none quite and ancient as good old Leap the Dips.
👍👍 That was more informative than most coaster and amusement park Vloggers who give reviews . If you like historical rides then Knoebels Amusement Resort should be #1 on your list . It would be tops if you did an extensive review on that working historic ride museum .😀
Thank you so much! We love sharing not only the experience at each spot but also everything we learn from the people we meet. And as for Knoebels, that’s actually our favorite park that we have ever been to! Our ultimate goal is to do something like a full feature-length documentary on Knoebels because there’s just way too much there to squeeze into a normal episode (though we may do a stand alone episode on the Haunted Mansion). So that’ll hopefully be in the works some day!
Definitely worth the detour! The park has free admission, too, so you can just stroll on in, buy a ticket for Leap the Dips, and have yourself a ball on it!
@@JustaQuickDetour nice! I haven’t been through Pennsylvania before. Stopped in Philly a couple of times and went past Erie. I need to make that trip someday! It’s calling me!

That was super cool-- love good history-based storytelling!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! We were so happy to find a coaster history master right here in Pittsburgh!
Who knew the oldest coaster in the WORLD is just a short detour from where I live! Thanks for another fun video!

Another great detour! And I love Mallo Cups too!
Mallos are the best! Let us not let Boyer’s mishandling and almost destruction of a national treasure blemish the glory of their candy.
Another great detour!
Thank you! And since we cross across central PA a lot it’s one we’ll be making again and again!

Very cool! Will have to plan a diversion next time headed east. Thanks for illuminating this treasure.
Yeah! It’s a pretty easy stop to make if you find yourself anywhere between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg! I hope you get to give it a spin someday!
Fantastic! I would have had no idea about this! Maybe one day I’ll be able to ride it.

Did you ride that roller coaster next to the ballpark? It’s called Skyliner. It is so much fun with the airtime and lack of seat dividers.
It was closed when we went, but I (Ryan) have been on it in the past and I agree, it’s a great little ride!
Nice video
Thank you!

"Leap the Dip" is actually what they used to call me in High School
Could’ve been a lot worse, I suppose.
Hey I know Andrew and Hannah!!
