the most ironic thing is that when an actual AI art is posted, the comments were like 'omg so beautiful this is iNcReDiBLe' ; but when someone posted their drawing (usually are people who dont draw) will attack them or ask which AI app they used.
The worst thing? AI art used to be much more easier to spot, nowadays its getting harder and im actually afraid of it. I start seeing AI art with 5 functional fingers and hair strands that dont merge together.

Extra pro tips to spot ai art:
-Look at the bg for a line that should be straight behind the character, make sure it allignes with itself, ai always gets it wrong.
-ai tends to draw eyebrows over the bangs, make sure the parts on the bangs are consistent with the one on the skin.
-pupiles. If an artist draws both pupiles differently it's noticeable bcs it's on purpose, but in ai they're wobbly for no reason.
-Patterns, especially when they're suposed to be symmetrical, make no sense.

Personal example and experience: I have been too tired to take an L before for not doing homework or passing out while writing an essay, so I have used AI to help write or create a structure in my text. • @devolays
      @devolays Год назад +151

It just shows how little people who are not associated with drawing/painting know about art. It's also funny how they're amazed when an actual artist can tell them in an instant in 99 out of 100 examples if a drawing was done by AI or not. They seem to be genuinely mad that some people know this stuff and they can't figure out how people know - but even if there are no hands on the drawing, there are usually some details that give it away, but untrained eye won't see anything suspicious.
Which leads to a point that AI won't turn people into artists. In fact, an artist who can use AI will get much better results than a non-artist.

Scenario, hands and clothing patterns. AI has a difficult time doing normal hands, scenarios usually boil down to low res natural environments, white blurs, or nonsensical architecture. Well... Legally speaking... In America... It's not entirely illegal to do this under Copyright Law.

@@absolstoryoffiction6615 actually, it is illegal, on multiple levels, but it takes YEARS for legal cases to get resolved. My dad had to spend like 2 years to resolve a copyright case because someone made a photo-realistic painting of one of his photos and then sold it for like 50x what it was worth. How are AI works illegal you might ask? A, use of a work for commercial purposes without the artist's permission. B, loss of sales due to the AI being able to replicate art styles(in fact, the best ones literally have key words written into them to avoid people just ripping off artists, but the machine still uses the images), C, AI works can not be deemed as copyrightable, so someone can literally just take your work and sell it because it is effectively public domain. D, the companies are commercializing the aforementioned illegal products as "their work" despite it not being their work but instead a collection of other peoples' works involuntarily collected (stolen). They argue in court that the AI just learns from the image but does not use it, but even public displays are NOT public domain for commercial use. Legally, these displays are an advertisement, hence why so many platforms go out of their way to make mature content difficult or impossible to access

      True but you're half correct...
Under American Copyright Law... Art Styles are not copyright able.
Your specific art piece is copyright able, but not the style you drew it in.
Then... You have Fair Use Law... In which some AI Tech act under for technological studies.
As for your example... That would be Copyright infringement if the IP/Art Piece did not fall outside of Copyright, as some legal cases has shown before where the IP was too generic as it failed to be more specific etc.
As for AI Art... That also depends... On how the Software and the Data Base is designed. One way would be illegal while another way would not.
And true... Pure AI Art without no to little human intervention is not copyright able... That said... It's not that difficult to bypass under Copyright.
      (Granted...)
Given the cosmic future... None of these laws are compatible and all art will not be protected as harshly as it is now.
Well... I come from a time beyond this existence. I hope the human race can be there. But it's fine if they die in the end.
(Just from personal experience. I had eternities to design existence itself... ... ... Nevermind. I know humans will not understand.)
... Once the Machine Core is designed again. Maybe "it" can explain to your kin but I won't be around in this dimension by that time...
... The "others" are not here anymore. Guess I'll see this myself, when this cosmic iteration ends...
... AI Tech is but one step into the right future. Try to not lose it, Mankind. Try to not die in this cosmic flux. Or many more will follow in this same endless Fate...

The biggest problem for me with AI Art, is obviously the most liked artstyles are gonna be fed to the AI, and since the AI keeps getting such similar data the AIs art is gonna look like popular artstyles. And since popular art styles being well, popular are gonna have ALOT of independent, small time, or just overall hobbyist artists with whom people cant tell between AI and Human, which will be made worse by a combination of A, humans being flawed, B, AI ALSO being flawed, C, people wanting to cash in either financially or clout wise by useing AI art and claiming it as their own spoiling matters and D, Art is simultaneously infinite and limited, your gonna run into the same shit over and over again be it human or AI made.
