I know you just kind of said it flippantly at the end of the vlog “You’re gonna be okay” but there have been so many times I’ve needed to hear that from somebody. Thank you so much for saying that. I think that’s what great about sharing the hard stuff with us, you get to show us how you are guys are okay even in your tough moments.

Medication in excessive amounts changes a persons personality, and you have to decide which is better; having your child be themselves, or making it easier for you. Sometimes that is a hard choice when things are bad.

Who knows, maybe that pull-up was itchy or didn't feel nice. I will never forget how grossed out when my breast fed babies would have a diaper blow out. Yeah I know they weren't a teenager, but it is never expected and it is never easy. But there is always a silver lining, their blowout meant that they had enough to eat. You guys are amazing and Abbie is reaching and teaching millions! Thank you for sharing her with us.

It helps to know you’re not alone in the struggles, and may capture an idea for some on what they can do differently, to make their lives easier, based on how Abbie behaves, and your responses to it. I watch your channel for both the positive and the reality, and I love both! I think it's important to highlight struggles with disabilities, especially in caregivers because people forget that they're human too and caregiver fatigue is very much a real thing. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and that is okay. :) Keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about being negative (because you're not). Love you all!

I so relate with what you said about Abigail! 💗 As someone with Atypical Autism, whenever I'm having a bad day/ or time, sometimes I get that overwhelmed that I cannot talk, otherwise known as Selective Mutism, it's like my brain has to complete this process before I am able to speak again♡♡♡♡ Mum talks about how it can be difficult for her when I go quiet and cannot speak, but as hard as it is on her, it's much tougher on me as you literally feel trapped in your own mind. Being verbal is why it's hard for Mum to handle when I go mute, cos I can vocalize words/sentences everyday just fine, just the only time I can't speak is when I get so overwhelmingly upset, or experience extreme frustration. So totally relate to the whole it being harder on the person with Autism thing, thanks for acknowledging that appreciate it :)💕 So wish neurotypicals could live in our mind for a day, experience our feelings this is me just being thoughtful, as it'd be nice and interesting to experience being neurotypical for a day if I could 😊♡♡ xo I want to say also on a different subject I really love and appreciate the light fluffy and funny stuff, it just brightens up my day! 🌞 Just always love seeing you guys goof around and Abbie's giggling/ excitement warms my heart!! :)🌈 Thank you for being your awesome selves : ) Love and appreciate your insight on things always, favourite time of my day is these vlogs!!! 😄♡♡♡♡♡♡ xoxo

I think it's important to highlight struggles with disabilities, especially in caregivers because people forget that they're human too and caregiver fatigue is very much a real thing.
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and that is okay. :) Keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about being negative (because you're not).

I so relate with what you said about Abigail! 💗 As someone with Atypical Autism, whenever I'm having a bad day/ or time, sometimes I get that overwhelmed that I cannot talk, otherwise known as Selective Mutism, it's like my brain has to complete this process before I am able to speak again♡♡♡♡
Mum talks about how it can be difficult for her when I go quiet and cannot speak, but as hard as it is on her, it's much tougher on me as you literally feel trapped in your own mind. Being verbal is why it's hard for Mum to handle when I go mute, cos I can vocalize words/sentences everyday just fine, just the only time I can't speak is when I get so overwhelmingly upset, or experience extreme frustration.
So totally relate to the whole it being harder on the person with Autism thing, thanks for acknowledging that appreciate it :)💕 So wish neurotypicals could live in our mind for a day, experience our feelings this is me just being thoughtful, as it'd be nice and interesting to experience being neurotypical for a day if I could 😊♡♡ xo

Thanks for keeping it real Asa! I am autistic and also having a difficult sleeping period as well. It is not fun but i know it will pass. I cant imagine not being able to verbally say whats going on with me even in a small way. I imagine Abbie can sometimes get frustrated. Thankyou for bringing more awareness to autism!
