Hi Andy,good to see you enjoying. I don’t eat sausage or bacon, so I am no expert on either. They are threatening us with 4 inches of snow, but I doubt it as right now it’s too warm, but it’s going to be cold tomorrow -11C, and windy, ye old Arctic front coming in.😊
Looks similar to what I've done on some occasions, grilled sausage meat that's intended for stuffing and that's good too 😋 I will try them if I see them judging by your delight.
Have seen these about but was put off as thought was just abit of a gimmick being like a rectangular sausage patty rather then standard round ones lol. Wasn’t sure on the branding being better than bacon either as it’s a totally different thing lol. Thanks for the review anyways Andy I will see what they are all about next time when out shopping 👍
I've tried the pork Heck sausages in the past and to be honest they were quite bland with no seasoning and no taste compared with other good quality sausages in my opinion. I may give these a go because they look good and with 97% pork it's right up there with the best. Cheers 👍
@@spitthedog1979 I think sometimes the very high meat content although good to see can be too much because it doesn't leave a lot of room for adding seasoning for the flavour. 👍
While shopping at Aldi, I bought a pack of four 100% Lean Pork Loin Medallions, from the chiller for £3.49 ... "Heck," they're absolutely delicious with Apple Sauce! 😋 EDIT: I was just thinking to myself, "Heck, where's the Brown Sauce?" ... When, out came the Brown Sauce! ... Gotta have Brown Sauce! Heck, it's the law!
