- The BLOOM from Jackson Audio is a comprehensive dynamic engine that is designed to give guitarists maximum dynamic tonal control in ways never before possible. The BLOOM v2 - MIDI takes everything people love about our original BLOOM and updates it with MIDI!
The BLOOM v2 - MIDI now offers MIDI control over all 6 compression settings, circuit ON/OFF (COMP, EQ, BLOOM) and bloom level; the bloom level can also be expressed via MIDI!
A three-fold device, the Bloom manipulates the dynamics of the instrument by way of precisely tuned optical compression, equalization, boost and sustain circuits which can be activated separately or in tandem with each other.

The best comp going! Stunning stuff
Outstanding demonstration
Thank you for the video manual!
A solid design strong in all modes, prob best in a post drive application.
I usually go for simpler, more vintage circuits, but the sheer utility, and beautiful, noiseless, sound have got me thinking. This could benefit many people's rigs.
Will there a version with full MIDI support? CC controlling for all the knobs for example?
Jackson audio i don't know if it's possible with the given design, but y'all need to make that extra comp stage that's active in slide mode available to activate in front of the other comp modes too, it's so juicy with multiple cascading comp stages, I want the extra juice with the other comp settings too 🤤
Just ordered one from Sweetwater taking advantage of the labor day sale and can't wait till these guys are back in stock! With the video, it's great knowing how to use it out of the box (and already got my morningstar programmed for it in advance). This looks like such a wonderful useful pedal, taking care of a lot of needs with one device and saving space for more fun things.
Exactly what i needed. You guys make great stuff and it needs a learning curve. I almost sold my Bloom but after hours of tweaking i must say this compressor is the best thing 👍🏻
One thing i would have like to know how do i know it is true or buffered bypass?
True bypass will work even when power is unplugged
😍
I just bought the Bloom today! Stoked for this video and for the great prouct.
I have one and love it. Was wondering, what order do you all place yours?
I only use compression with pluggings, I wonder what the ratios of the compression are, I noticed the manual does mention the attack but not the release or ratio.
So is MIDI only good for turning comp/boost/eq on/off and switching comp modes? No way to present knob positions or even or send several messages to back into a preset?
How can I make the bloom buffer-bypassed? please tell me…
I already know how to change buffer to true bypass, but I don’t know how to change true to buffer…
Can you save user presets and switch between them while playing?
Is the boost the amp mode from the prism like the broken arrow?
How are you changing it between the different types of compressor?
Do you need to plug this into the computer to get those settings?
not a tone related question, but is it possible to change EQ LED color?
What are the attack speeds of the series compressors in slide mode?
You should go out and get Old Hot Rod type Car and hook up with GAS MONKEY, there in Texas, and have them Super HOT ROD IT, as The JACKSON AUDIO-MOBILE, and thus make Jackson Audio Known to an even Larger Audience!! I was watching it yesterday, and the Idea sprung in me Fron. That's from Stargate SG-1, just meaning Forehead, Brain, Imagination Place. What's up with your Multi Chorus Modulation Pedal??
The Bloom does everything I expect a guitar compressor to do. I can tell a lot of research and guitar knowledge was involved and I really appreciate it. MIDI control is a must so I think I’ve found my comp.
Shortcomings? The obvious distortion introduced with high settings of bloom is completely wrong. A compressor should. If anything, avoid distortion at almost any cost. I mean, that’s the very purpose of limiting.
the opening music....🤔
If it must be felt and not heard why this sounding demo ?
Because every compression type has a different tone, the key is to find the one that fits you and then dial it back so it's felt instead of heard
And then of course... A BOOST and an EQ are better demonstrated audibly because they're literally audible effects
