Atlantic Star Arrival Liverpool 2020

Being in the right place right time always helps in photography. In New Brighton today I noticed the Atlantic Star 4th Generation Atlantic Container Line ship on the horizon. Before long the ship was passing Fort Perch Rock and I quickly had to grab my iPad in the attempt to capture this 'Merseyside Moment'.
What incredible skills must be involved to turn this mighty ship 55649 tons Dead weight, 100430 Gross tonnage, 296 metres long 37.6 metres breadth. No matter how many times I see this, I still feel the power that the tide has as it races in at about 9 knots.
Then as a ship approaches, well I won't say anymore but just let you watch the video.
