PowerDrift features are great at the price tag it offers especially when compared with Okinawa's rivals..but I agree that the suspension is really soft and the brakes don't really encourage the rider..other than that it's a great scooter and most importantly it's Environment friendly..

Others yu have to see how they are doing in an year after launch then yu can decide to buy or not.

Thats actually a very key element which most of the reviewers ignore. My friend had tvs teenz electric and when the battery of the vehicle depleted, the cost of replacing it was above 15k! 15000rs is lot of money considering the cost of vehical was 35k. Also the battery depletes in 2-3 year

Couple of things people won't know: 1) Lead acid battery will need replacement every 15000-20000km (depending on how you ride the scooter) 2) Lead acid battery is not recommended to be fast charged. The ideal charge time is 6hrs, anything faster than damages the battery. Result: Lower life and quicker replacement 3) The Hub motor is a 1.2kW peak motor (Activa has approx 6kW), so its not powerful enough to go over flyovers especially with pillion. Not even God will save you if you happen to stop on a flyover due to traffic. 4) The Hub motor is not designed for Indian road conditions. These are Chinese made and most likely will not handle the pothole filled Indian roads. Basically means they will get damaged and replacement won't be easy. Electric scooters are still not cheap enough to be sold at 45-50k and deliver similar performance to the existing petrol scooters. You can still buy one, but it will be a compromise.
I took test test drive on it , awesome comfort , doesn't give fatigue experience due to zero NVH level. But some questions are there 1. Bldc Motor life cycle and cost of replacement 2. Battery Life cycle and cost of replacement 3. Can it climb on terrain road with pillion passenger ? Which my Activa 125 can do effortlessly.. 4 . Lithium ion battery would be best for us. 5. Can battery (removable) taken out to house for daily basis charging. Coz in apartment base house, availability of 3 pin sockets are very less or not available. If company has solved the above issue then only this vehicle can achieve great success!
English is my second language, but I try to get an English accent as accurate as I can, even a guy from England told me that I speak a 9.5/10 and that after a few weeks in England I would sound like a proper English man. Most Indians I don't know why, they don't try that hard enough and butcher the hell out of English, and this fine man speaks real proper English that everyone who understands English in the world can understand! This is inspiring, I did not know about them at all, and I try to follow e bike news for the most part of it. On the point of not requiring papers, the govt specifies for anything above 250W you require papers, insurance especially. They haven't specified what capacity the battery is? . Its like the IC Engine vehicles telling us the mileage, we can guess it better if we know how many liters the fuel tank is. The scooter weight is also not available, neither is the motor type, I think it is a hub motor. They have given on the website its a Lead acid battery but a VRLA one which is better for being robust and has fewer chances of spills and leakages. But Lead acid batteries are known to self discharge over time. Dont know how that will work. @PowerDrift a question about braking performance, did you feel auto braking or regenerative braking (somewhat similar to engine braking but much more smoother and powerful)? because if that is the case then the brakes will last forever.

- Can we disconnect alarm system? - Cost of battery replacement when it degrades? - Ideally battery should be Plug n Play sort of. Reason: owner staying in high rise building will not face any problem if charging point is not available on ground floor.
As of now, the alarm system cannot be disconnected. Battery cost should be somewhere between Rs. 8000 to 10000. The battery is not plug-and-play, you'll need a power socket in the parking bay.
The video is great but at some places the background music dimmed the voice. I would be curios to know about the pick-up and the torque. Generally, such scooters are sluggish to get moving. Another practical issue with these scooters is that they are noiseless, since none hears it coming, the rider will have to rely on honking to clear the traffic ahead.
today I called my nearest okinawa dealer for okinawa praise, dealer told me that okinwa praise price is Rs 84000 (lead acid) Is it ok? He told me that i get refund Rs 18000 as Govt Subsidy. I think dealer misguide me. Dealer location Raha district at Assam

Its really good and I do want to opt for electric vehicles just to save our environment. But the challenge is how do I charge since I live in 2nd floor. I can't use the ground floor socket because it belongs to someone. I should put an extension cable but I should make sure no one is using it. So I would expect the scooter should come with removable and also with a spare /addition battery. Its my opinion what do you say..?

Looks good, I think it would've made much more sense if even this one didn't require the necessary documents to drive. In that case it would've been a perfect and sporty option for the teenagers! But with a license required to drive it, i'm not sure how it'll fare against the other electric options available.
i guess as per motor vehicle act a vehicle having top speed above 25KMPH needs registration and license to drive. Same is the case with yo bykes and hero electric who have models with higher top speed.

I think depreciation of battery should also be taken into consideration while comparing mileages. What is the cost of a replacement battery for this?

Looks good, I think it would've made much more sense if even this one didn't require the necessary documents to drive. In that case it would've been a perfect and sporty option for the teenagers! But with a license required to drive it, i'm not sure how it'll fare against the other electric options available.
i guess as per motor vehicle act a vehicle having top speed above 25KMPH needs registration and license to drive. Same is the case with yo bykes and hero electric who have models with higher top speed.
Please review a shootout for all electric scooters available in the market today and showcase the best one.
