Chandler weighs in at 155 and is 208 when he steps in the cage. All lightweights are natural middleweights atleast lmaooo

He knows being undefeated doesn't necessarily represent greatness - and that's what he's chasing; something bigger than aribtrary records

@@timkruse9912 And it just so happened to be in the weighclass above him (Which there realistically should be another weight-class between MW and LHW because the jump is very steep - it's been argued for some time that there needs to be a new one in sthat spot as well as between LW and WW). The man put the coveted undefeated record on the line against a man who probably weighed about 25 maybe even closer to 30 pounds more on fight night after rehydration. "Dare to be great" he said several times leading up to and after the fight. Knowing the value of achievements over silly tallies and arbitrary records says to me that we are witnessing a future Great of the sport. Were gonna be looking back on this era of MMA and counting our lucky stars we got to witness it unfold.

In actual sparring they aren't really going that hard they are smart fighters. It was the drilling defence on ground where Dan put the pressure lol it's all fun tho nothing "war" like in sparring

It's a drill. They're drilling defence from ground and pound when you're on bottom. That's why Dan tells him to get back to the floor when he gets up. The position is started that way and the point is to protect yourself from strikes while getting back up.

Your probably right weight cutting seems only ideal in certain camps
He says it's a very easy cut for him and he walks around 170-175. He looks big but some guys don't have high bone density and I think that's the case with him
