A bit late on the comment train here, but I just want to say that this is probably my all time favorite T:A comp montage. The music is so well fitted to the plays, it's almost as if it was made for it. The sync with some of those mortars gave the montage such a good feel. There also seems to be this confidence behind your play, it's very nice to watch. Truly dabes A+ 10/10 would watch again (and already did over 5 times). Great stuff!.
T:A has been slightly more active lately in NA. Any Tribes vet knows about the flutters, those who bailed after the announcement of no more significant patches, are back! I've seen a lot of old T:A folks on that I haven't seen since February 2012! Hell, there are even some GENUINE level 1-10s in-game! I'm not saying that the game isn't dead, but it is still Tribes, Tribes-folk always come back to Tribes! Nice montage, by the way!
Thanks, I can't believe some of the shots you can do, I know it's possible as I can occasionally hit people in air with artillery but to do it almost all the time, just so hard :D. I envy people who can hit in air with spinfusior
Having the damage numbers on help a bit with mortars, in my experience. For explosive weapons you don't need the really low sensitivity you do for autos, but that'll make chaining more difficult (and as you can see in the montage the chaining isn't that amazing)... but really, the mortar is all just practice and learning to predict movement really well.
I wish I had time to play tribes again, I once was soo close to almost this level of awesome and now I just simply don't have the time to play anymore, and I would had to relearn the full game I stopped playing the day the update came out that made it so that you would upgruade your weapons by playing with them and not by paying for the unlocks and the day before I spend all my money on my pathfinder sooo yea... -.-. Anyway, pretty sweet frags here good job! :)
Is there anything in particular you do to shoot like that, best weapon and perks etc. I can 'almost' hit everytime with spinfusior and mivr but never close enough. Any tips?
Great montage, I played this game for a while, got to... Rank 30 was it? I remember playing in pubs and seeing Swordf1sh, Kevin, etc hanging out, of course they dunked me, but the point is, it's crazy how small the Tribes: Ascend community is getting. Quite sad.
I can't believe people are still saying this game is dead... I still play it on a daily basis and it's hard for me to even join euro servers, most of the time I have to join GOTY servers because there aren't slots! ... So if the game has people you'll complain about too many noobs genewhoring and groundshooting but you neither can't live without these noobs... People will argue about everything.
One, your damn good. But seriously lay off the zoom... god awfull when trying to make a movie and all i see is you "Twitch" zooming 24\7 ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM
This game is DEAD!!! 100 players max on european server ffs, but on the other hand we do have the highly mediocre Smite that tries so hard but everyone else still plays League of Legends
