Hafa Adai to you, too! Thank you for replying. I know very little about Guam only that I had an uncle stationed there who spoke about it years ago when I was little. The food looks very tasty and I love trying new things. I love most any kind of bread. I'm sure this is a tasty bread. I hope to try it sometime. Thanks again!
Hi Kokonutbaby1, did you ever get around to making titiyas? Just in case, here is a printable link for the recipe: www.paulaq.com/guamflourtitiyasrecipe.html
Hafa Adai Marie, there is a link on each of my videos for the printable recipe for each dish. It's in the upper right corner or below the videos, but sometimes the links are hard to see depending on what device you are using. Here is the link for my titiyas recipe. Sorry for the inconvenience! www.paulaq.com/guamflourtitiyasrecipe.html
Hafa Adai, that's hello in Chamorro, the native language of Guam. These are not quite like a tortilla in the sense that you wrap a filling with it. We love to put a ceviche-like dish, called kelaguen, on top of the titiyas squares or rectangles. We also apply softened butter on top of the hot titiyas. It is basically a soft, sweet bread that can be eaten by itself, eaten with a plate of our Guam barbeque food, or enjoyed with a variety of our kelaguen dishes.
Hi Frances, I apologize! The ingredients were listed, but with RUclips changes it got erased. I'm updating my entire channel and website, linking a printable recipe for all my recipes. Here's a link to the printable titiyas recipe: www.paulaq.com/guamflourtitiyasrecipe.html
