Why Mamamoo is the Most Underrated Group, is best for their impact on the Kpop industry. You should also watch their Immortal Songs Medley soon. This is their ultimate vocal flex. It's a concert clip from 2017. Immortal Songs is a competition show where the contestants cover songs by famous Korean artists. While this has changed somewhat in the last few years, idol group were generally looked down on. Mamamoo starting in their rookie year won the hearts of the audience with their incredible performances and became the first girl group to win. They eventually appeared on the show 14 times, plus Solar did once as an individual and won 3 times. The show performances are well worth watching but reactions to them will be blocked unless you are good at video manipulation. Moonbyul, Wheein and Solar all had individual comebacks (Solar had her second solo win on the music shows) earlier this year. Hwasa is having one in July. Moonbyul and Wheein are currently on world tours individually. Last year Mamamoo toured the US for the first time and one of the fan favorite sections was when they covered each other's solo songs. Nobody else has ever done that.
Hwasa just had a cold while filming the Live… for a gen 3 they’re probably top 3 (imo 1 or 2) for just singing plus dancing in high heals in majority of their performances … and they sang live on sidewalks to promote their single (they made RGW Corp) and were almost shelved for “not being K-pop standards” yet they did it with hard work n singing….thank you, aloha❤
