  • In the last chapter the machine was opened up for servicing. Now the Brew group will be removed for restoration. The few screws required for removal will continue along the same number system as before, also hose connection 18 will be moved to the front door as it seem a more logical location for it.
The brew group comes would with relative ease, and its nasty, vacuumed first before I even work with it. Also a visual inspection is important before work starts in the attempt to find a fault. after which, disassembly begins; an order of operations is followed. During disassembly, the first failure is discovered, the o-ring on the piston. The plunger o-ring also shows failure.
Completely disassembled, A tub of water and cleaner is set up for the parts to soak and be brushed then rinsed one by one and set off to dry in a separate area. Each part is also inspected for damage or wear. The metal element was specially cleaned, many holes were blocked, it took a lot of time and care to free it up.
I will be using the Brew group rebuild kit for the next task, all new Orings are added during assembly, the supplied lubricant is used where specified.

I have A bucket full of things that look like flashers from older vehicles but that’s not what they are I was wondering if I could show you a picture and you can tell me what they are and if they would be of any use to anybody

i appreciate the videos and the time you take to explain. I performed this clean per instructions, but I cannot get it to dispense out the front. Best I can tell, water makes its way to the Brew Group (bottom) but doesn't pass thru... just sprays out the bottom. I have un-assembled and re-assembled many times, everything seems fine but it will not pass. Any thoughts???

The part at 14:36 in your video, does not go up into the mechanism? Or at least that is where the water comes spraying out. I have moved the gears, pushed down before install, changed O ring. Maybe there is blockage past that point?? When I blow on tubes though, air moves freely. It was working pre-clean. Any advice would be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance!!
