My two best tips for poor tinglers: 1.) Close your eyes and imagine the sound is behind you. This is especially effective with scratching and whispers for me, if I can convince myself they're behind me it doubles the tingle effect. ✨ 2.) Take a break from ASMR and come back later. When I'm not feeling the tingles like I think I should, I take a two-week-long break from ASMR content, totally cold turkey. When I come back everything feels almost new again. 🎉 Obviously everyone is different, these won't necessarily work for everybody, but they could be worth a try! 💕
I've heard the take a break one a lot too and for some people it really helps- but I almost never get tingles and I could go months without watching asmr again and still get no tingles im not sure why- any tips on that?
@@BarbieFlesh6928 so for me, I get no tingles without headphones. The sound has time to spread out before you can really experience the tingles. If you’re not already, I would try using headphones. That way, you get to hear each sound like it is right in you’re own ears!
I'm pretty immune to most tingles. ASMR is usually something just nice to listen to. But the few times I have genuinely experienced tingles, were all from your videos. Litteral chills. Keep up the great work!

I rarely, if ever get a proper tingle out of ASMR. But it is still pleasant stimulation. I'd say that for me, ASMR is more about entertaining my ears and exploring 'noises'. Some of these noises are 'very' stimulating to the point that I do get something akin to a chill. I noticed a discernible response to the sounds from 7 onwards that had a greater effect on me, so I guess 7 is where I'm at. I listen to a lot of ASMR, it's a nice way to stimulate your ears/hearing.
In my experience, it is not just the sounds and visuals but the way the person is watching that gives tingles. If I'm in bed or laying down, it's easier to get tingles than if I were at my desk doing nothing. A comfy chair (I use a bean bag chair), alone in a dark room, wrapped in a blanket, provides the best tingles for me.
Whatever that first trigger was, I loved it. This whole video was honestly amazing. A longer video with these would be amazing, or at least the first trigger
