@N A couldn’t agree more. I have two Seamasters and they both had to go back because of time keeping issues 🤦🏻♂️ I’ve seen quite a few Rolex’s with quality issues too though and they are being traded for double retail.
@N A hi I have a Seamaster 300 heritage and a Seamaster professional 300 (the new one) they both worked perfectly for about 6 to 9 months especially the SMP. It kept unbelievably good time. All of a sudden the crown went a bit tight on the SMP and it started losing 10/15 seconds a day. Took it in to my local Omega AD with the warranty card and they sent it away to the Omega service centre. It came back like new completely rebuilt cleaned and polished. The 300 heritage just started gaining 20 seconds a day all of a sudden and again I took it into the Omega AD with its warranty card and Omega sorted it all out and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Lots of people I know have had similar experience’s with Rolex watches especially fit and finish problems. Poorly finished hands and misaligned inter rings and time keeping issues to name a few. Their service centres can be a bit hit a miss too. Watches coming back scratched is quite common apparently. Don’t leave yours not running right if it’s still under warranty. Get it sent away by Omega and let them sort it out. They are really helpful in my experience.
With popularity of good folks who just use these watches as a show off, should we even have such long extended comparisons? Even my mate at the corner shop could have told me the answer. Nice video thou. Thank you for your efforts nonetheless

That GMT hand at 6.52 is rubbish. Like you said, 'once you see it, you can't un-see it'.
6:53 just wow
I’ve actually seen fake Submariners where the laser etching is neater than the real thing and I’ve seen fake GMT’s where the GMT hand has much neater paint 🤦🏻♂️ it will be interesting to see how the Rolex values game play’s out 🤔 it’s clearly all a bit silly at moment. Subs going for more than JLC money 🤔 when branding has more value than quality you are in trouble 🤔 also Omega built a company Rolex just bought one 😬
If I had the money to buy a Rolex I’d get an A. Lange und Sohne.
For some reason, I thought that Zenith made Rolex's movements?
Older Daytonas used a Zenith movement. Then Rolex developed their own.
I’ii take my Grand Seiko over Rolex any day,
I have seen fakes with etched crowns in the crystal that are so good that if I had the fake and the real in front of me without knowing them I would have thought the fake was the real one.
Buying a Rolex seems to be on par with people who buy Bitcoin, once your in you have to believe and sell the hype to anyone willing to listen.
Not everyone. I purely bought my GMT Batman for the love of the watch.
I work with people however who bought their datejusts for the "clout" of wearing Rolex.
