You Rock. Thanks for the information. I had a accident 9/22 it was an at fault in a heavy rain down pour. Some companies are 2/3and now 5 years before they will consider you. I definitely appreciate this video.
Another great video, Jimmy. I tell drivers all the time about the potential for the money to be made over here and I have been fortunate enough to recruit some as well. Oakley has been great for me and my family for the past 5 years and I’m looking forward to 5 more. Be safe and I’ll see ya out there somewhere.
I applied was accepted and spoke to Dustin Thursday but they wouldn't even look at my W9 I rebuilt to new with full paperwork, 5 years or newer no exceptions they said. Maybe because they have a waiting list for everything I don't know.
@@TheDriller100 that's not even close to true but I understand your point, most are. I rebuilt a show truck with every replaceable part going to OEM new with zero emissions, new motor, new 18 speed not rebuilt, zero frame rust. I found a old owner who took care of this truck which is why I rebuilt it to new and saved $130k. There's a few good rebuildable ones out there but they're hard to find.
@PFeal come run the west bulk market where I prefer the a rebuilt pre 99 elog ag exempt w900 or old 379. Just stretcher out to 280 in and put a pusher axle on the truck and we'll hook u up to on of our 3 axle hoppers and get you hauling 100K+ gross legally across a 8 state area west of Missouri river. Oakley is OK, there more than a trucking co, they have ports and terminals, I contract with Bruce alot for western work. Oakley needs 5 yrs or newer and can only hail 80K gross because he in the eastern midwest. Get that rebuilt W9 doing what you rebuilt it for.
Thats the 1st time ive been told about the beardless requiement. Ill shave, for $300k, ill shave it. I wear a short beard, 7/16 on the trimmer. No big deal. Thanks for the info, Semper Fi.
Thank you for the video I’m an Owner Op for Dana transport and you just made me have a whole new perspective on everything. quick question what is the podcast channel you keep mentioning?
you tell it like it is and this is the MOST important message for anyone listening, You work for Oakley as a customer that delivers product for their customers,, You forgot one little thing though,, (at least when I was an owner operator hauling electronics) your vehicle is your autograph. Dirty vehicle, not a very high gross each year,, Clean vehicle, much higher gross as you are allowed more product to haul
Wow now i can see why theres a waiting list good money for the miles and time you put in way better then those guys getting hammerd with the dry van and reefer rates

They're nailing down on the 5 years and newer I guess. Their company their ball.

As long as you know getting proper rest. Whatever works.
