- Russia may aim its long-range missiles at European cities in response to the deployment of American Tomahawk missiles in Germany, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. And the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Moscow is studying a military response to the Pentagon. Over the past six months, Russia has intensified sabotage in Europe. The goal of the Kremlin’s large-scale campaign is to destabilize the situation and disrupt assistance to Kyiv.

That's why Putin got involved in the first place. He thought NATO would turn the other cheek. NATO honestly did ignore it for a while. No one can deny the atrocities upon civillian life in Ukraine. Ukrainians are people, too. The people never did anything to deserve such a problem that merely go back and forth to work and choose to stay out of being so aggravated over politics. Some will say NATO is better late than never, and that if they responded right away, it would have only made matters worse. They are wrong. It took NATO years to manufacture the capability of making a difference in an all-out war, which was smarter than it wasn't, but never-the-less, a delayed reaction to stopping the loss of life on all sides over a territorial dispute that hardly spans the size of Florida. I'm still mad at NATO for such incompetence in the matter of relative comparison. Then again, it seems impossible to fathom after Vietnam and North Korea that they can achieve anything at this point. The sad fact is that Russia sucks even worse. Come on, Pentagon, why is this an issue? Are you seriously this daft?
