This story is similar to mine and more doctors should pay attention. I went to the local gp and he told me I must have pulled a muscle. I went to an acupuncturist and got temporary relief. Back to the doctor... it will pass, was his response. It didn’t and just got progressively worse. I changed doctors and he immediately sent me for a X-ray. The X-ray showed the cartilage had gone in my left hip and it was bone on bone. Now I have trouble sleeping and walking is nearly impossible. Hopefully in the new year I will get to see a specialist and have the hip replacement surgery. 2020 has been a busy year for hospitals so I will just have to tolerate the pain until Covid 19 passes. Wish me luck.
