    But if you put that twist in it you can't tell if the strap is getting loose when you're looking in your mirror but we all do it differently and you're right about the cross strap in front especially shingles just tighten that shit down flatbedder for life lol

    No dead man straps and only 1 strap per pallet...you're braver than I am brother but good video regardless

    No trip straps to prevent forward movement on palitized freight? Only takes a few more minutes to use your portables. I strapped my shingles exactly like you until I had a hard break due to a 4 wheeler cutting me off. all the shingle slid forward off the palates. Better safe than sorry pal, your not immune.

    What is short strapping?

  • @steverone7623
    @steverone7623 8 лет назад +1

    i would defiantly invest in shorter straps. takes so long pulling all that un needed slack

    when i use to haul shingles we had to use the old corner boards hated it

    You could shorten the video a lot by not showing the repetitive stuff. Show a couple of examples, then shut it down until you get to the next step.

    i start orientation may the 5th coming over from JB Hunt OTR to flatbed lease at prime if there is anyway i could pick your brain a little about the process that would be great. if you have time that is i understand your off and prolly want nothing to do with work but if you do have an opportunity that would be great.

    Great videos! I'm seriously looking at Prime flatbed and your videos have helped me learn a lot and decide on Prime. I would go PSD hopefully starting in July. Does Prime allow or offer satellite tv on their trucks as a company driver once your solo? Small thing to worry about but I plan on staying out months at a time. Thanks

    Glad to see you are feeling better.
    Great video! I don't think you need to edit anything. That way you show how to fix what gets messed up.
    Enjoy your week off. Hope to see you in Springfield if you are up that way while I'm in training.
    If you do decide you want to edit you may think about getting a tripod mount for your phone. Then you can switch between the two during the parts that you aren't talking. But I think it's fine just the way it is.

    Great video!! Next time run your mic cord under your t-shirt before videoing. I do the same thing when I work out to keep from snagging the cord

    do you happen to have a veeboard installation tool ? that saves the time to get on the trailer to install the veeboards. Also during raining days when the deck is wet , it can help prevent an accident by not having to climb over the trailer. overall great video !
