    February always brings the heaviest of snowfalls.I remember the 16 inch snow northeastern Tennessee recieved back on valentines day,2015.Looks like a possible rematch is brewing! In addition to that, I have never before saw a northern anomaly stretch and break in to two different cold fronts before.Thanks again WOTG.😊

    I live in NW Florida and we loved having 9 inches of snow, plus it lasted 4 days. I guess we probably won't be getting any more of that.

      I know. In my neck of the woods it was more of an April forecast with it being so mild the first week of February.

    I've always found it pretty odd how weather conditions can be predicted weeks in advance.

      Weather patterns can be predicted weeks ahead of time, but the exact details aren’t known until it gets closer.

    When do you expect of a February thaw for Central NY. Your guess??

    • @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts
      @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts  10 часов назад

      If the Polar Vortex split happens like I mentioned in my weather forecast, then there might not really be any February thaw for the Northeast this Winter.

      @@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts How about March it has to break eventually?

  • @williameddy9919
    @williameddy9919 10 часов назад

    If we have a Stratospheric Warming, how long does a cold pattern last? When will we finally get late winter thaws. If not in February, will it be March. Usually when you get into the second half of February, the coldest part of winter is over, and then we get thaws but with a few snow events till sometime in April. What do you think?

    • @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts
      @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts  10 часов назад +1

      The Sudden Stratospheric Warming Event back in 2018-19 Winter season lasted through April with cold air.

      @WeatherOnTheGoForecasts Well, by the end of March, our normal high will be under 50, so we will have no choice but to thaw out.
