Your lessons are great and help me to learn and understand FreeCAD much quicker and apply that new knowledge to real world applications. It's also very helpful that you mention some of the potential gotchas. Thank you so much!

Nice tutorial. Thank You ..only critique I have is You often jump from current 'focus'. This tutorial is for beginners and to much information on the beginning, not every time is a good idea ( just my opinion :) ). I would only focus to essential steps with essential explanation to get to "working destination" ASAP, and then would be good time to explain important additional information's, but by this point it will be easier to hook this to "something" in our memory, and also the same time we will be able to experiment. Regards

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate your feedback and yes totally agree. This was quite an early video but I am still guilty of doing that . I often don't have a script to follow so most of them are freestyled which has got better further on. I have lately with some videos written the tutorials and use them as scripts to keep me on track, I then throw these up onto patreon and at some point they will become public. It will help cut down the length of the videos and does tend to stop me 'wittering' lol. Thank you for the comments

This is very fun to learn ..I noticed that arm 3 and arm 4 were not offset ..but scissor still operates ..is there a way to show animation "line conflicts" so it will not operate until you offset the arm 3 and 4 ?

36:00 could a vertical and horizontal constraint on the edge ends have worked too?
In theory, the ends would be forced to overlap with that too.

That sounds a really good way to fix the issue. I can't see any reason why that shouldn't work. Sounds a much better option. Nice 👍👍

    Very interesting, thank you.
Is it possible to replace the holes with (solid) rotating pins?
Would the procedure be the same?

Thank you for the comment. If you was going down the pin route it would be more suited to A2 plus wb. I have a video coming up soon regarding that workbench

@@MangoJellySolutions Thanks again, I will be attending this tutorial.
I don't know if you are a teacher, but you are very interesting, your explanations are very precise and you leave enough time to allow us to follow you in the practice.
You are the best in your class.
