  • The hot weather and talk of manual labour evokes bad memories in Anthony's mind about his Apollo Air Conditioning days, which Jimmy finds hysterically funny.

@Mike Knight when Opie would do his buzzkill bullshit, now that i think of it, it reminded of that cranky old teacher when i was a kid when we had the first major snowstorm EVER where i live in South Texas back in 1985 and we started having huge snowball fights when we finally got back to school, that crusty bitch started yelling and telling us to stop and behave, Really?😕 some of us had never seen snow before, only snows once in a lifetime here, very rare, the other teacher's were like "calm down, it's not like we get snow here often, may not again, why don't you let them have fun with it, may be the only time!" She was always a real buzzkill, that's what Opie is when he does that

@Miguel Hernandez interesting😕 never said i was an expert, seen some of the Reddit stuff an it's utter shit, but no didn't have satellite radio or in their WNEW days because not from NY and didn't get their show, had seen Jimmy on the comedy roasts and Anthony on Red Eye a few times, didn't know anything about Opie or the Opie and Anthony show till probably after Anthony was fired, around that time, only found about the show from You Tube a few years ago, kept popping up on the page and started listening to it, funny stuff and great to listen at work, been listening to it ever sense, Jim's right about the Reddit comments, a lot of those comments seem to come from blithering idiots or people just trolling for the fuck of it, but in Opie's case, don't have to be an expert, you can hear it very plain if you have ears and brain and can use them properly, Jim and Anthony have also said it in interviews since then that Opie would do that, was his job but he seemed like the fun police and got bitter over it, that's what i was getting at, hope this cleared that up, if not, oh well, nothing i can do about that and don't care to go on any further about it either, good day to you sir, bye✌😎

Ant's story really is amazing. He was resigned to a life in construction, just as a hobby him and his brother made funny parody songs. One of his parodies was heard by Opie, who at the time was low rated night DJ in Long Island, probably not making much more than Anthony. Opie invites Anthony on to play his song, recognizes he has a good radio voice and brings him on a co-host with no pay at first. Then the show explodes, they go to Boston, then to New York, then become the #2 radio show in the nation behind only Howard Stern. Sign a $20 Million contract. Now Anthony lives in mansion, pals around with A-list comics and runs his own network.

Meanwhile I roll out of bed at 8:55 and log onto my computer to do my ultra white collar job. Maybe take a break at 11 to smoke a bowl with lunch.
I used to be in construction and a mechanic and a carpenter and now I’m an analyst and income back to this segment every now and then and think about how my father wanted me to continue in his path and I was like FUCK THAT

I think servpro does this too but not only did I have to rip Insulation and HVAC ducts but Ive had to use subpumps on catagory 3 sewage ill let you guess what that is, anyways I had a fucking month long job with the pink respirator replaceble filter masks demoing and then SANDING the entire crawlspace, and it still smelled fucking awfull.

6:20 Can confirm seeing this in person is one of the funniest things a human being can ever see. My brother and I were doing Christian service hours at this church once for school. The nuns' house needed a new floor in one of the bedrooms. We were working and she asked if I could get everyone water. So I went down to the fridge, and all of a sudden I just see my little brother's entire leg punch through the kitchen ceiling. I was crying laughing for a half hour.

I used to work for FedEx and I never had the same route , I was called a floater so I would cover routes when someone was out sick or on vacation. One day I was in this little podunk one horse town with nothing but those houses with the long winding 2 mile long driveways. I had to shit so bad I took one of those bins. ( the white ones like the post office uses) and went into the back of the truck and dropped a huge deuce. Had to use those billing forms to wipe my arse because I had no toilet paper.
When I brought the truck back to the garage 4 hours later the guy who was unloading the truck was gagging because it smelled so bad. I tossed the whole bin in our dumpster out back. 💩
