Even if these systems are 80 percent efficient, they should be inducted in lots with time given for upgrade and improvement. We cant shop around for such basic needs.

Even these systems will 95 percent efficient with their foreign counterpart , they will not be inducted till next decade ...
But for IA to Precontemplate about this, it should complete the following.
1)Fire Under Sea water for 100days continuously without even failing once
2) It should be able to precisely fire on Unspecified targets on the surface of mars.
3) Field trails on the moon surface should be successful.
Last and most imp criteria is the Scientist and engineer involved in the project should be of Russian or Israeli origin, basically any country other than indian.
If all these criteria are met, then IA will test this for 90yrs and induct 2-3guns before declaring it outdated.

MArG is a good replacement of M777 howitzer of USA...It's better to use our own without importing some expensive weapons.
But it will be very inferior quality.

These guns are proven world class, the ATAGS having broken range record for 155/52 artillery. But NONE of them are in service of Indian army because if they were inducted, OFB/DRDO would become extinct overnight. And we can't have that can we?
I don't see any originality in kalyani's Howitzers they're all based on Bofors Howitzers
Well I believe Indian armed forces need Lighter Howitzers that can operate in extreme weathers and terrain
That's why they go for American Light Howitzers and Korean K9-Vajras that's means kalyani Howitzers can't fullfil Indian armed forces requirements that's why Indian army only use kalyani Howitzers in limited numbers and rely on old but gold Bofors
Not only that Kalyani Howitzers import lot's of parts from a enemy country China
And kalyani Howitzers can't even maintain there qualities and standard that's why recently a ATGS was failed in Test

The Government inspection authorities should not give any concession in any of the stage inspection and material quality parameters.. Though Private parteners knows very well.. How to manage the Government inspection authorities ..and the design should be compliant to the MIL standard as we are going to adapt MIL standards..
75% Indian Navy equipments are indigenously made .. like army and Air force should plan.... mainly jets ..

Excellent commendable work. One of the main requirement to keep in mind is the Mobility of these equipment in rough terrain, quick easy to transport and set up in a war zone.
