Hi, i have an aqua breeze unit. The unit does not provide a cool air when turned on and the water is continuously flowing. Is it caused by the control board and dump valve? Thanks so much.
Great informative videos. very helpful. I have faulty code 2 on my controller. water is being pumped in, but just draining straight out and fan not turning on. however the vent mode fan works 'O.K im guessing my dump valve is not working.
Sounds like the dump valve is not reaching the closed limit and bringing up the fault code. Replace the dump valve and you should be good to go. Vent mode does not need the dump valve to be closed as as such works.
@@NotSealed just had plumber pay a free visit from Insurance to tell me the valve keeps opening and closing. out of interest, do you know much about these new Seely Climate Wizard CW3/6 for domestic? are they any good. I'm considering going all out on cooling but not the path of refrigeration
I haven't had to do any work yet on a Seeley Climate wizard. They look nice I just hope the parts are better made than some of their older stuff. Many clients are going full solar and then putting in ducted refrigeration. Good luck with it all. Keep us posted.
Hey mate, I’m having issues with the dump valve it keeps opening and closing constantly once I start the unit and via the panel inside the house. And when turning unit off inside the house it still keep opening and closing. Do you know why this could be happening? Thanks in advance
Yes I know what the issue is you need this part amzn.to/4dQQCHV Over time the dump valve motor fails and can't press down with enough pressure to activate the limit switch. It is easy to replace. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hay I need help my evaporative cooling unit on windy day flow air even it is off in side the house on cold day cold air on hot day hot is it normal or something wrong?
my dump valve was constantly moving up and down causing water to flow out...I waited for about 5 mins and it kept doing the same thing. I replaced it with a new one yesterday and now the machine is working. I was surprised as to how cheap those drain valves are made but cost $300 +...
So ours is not filling itself up with water , if we manually fill it up from the hose it will run for a good night then when it's hot drys out and then switches off and is bone dry Is that the dump valve you mentioned?
@@user-cg9oi5ug4d Sounds like your inlet solenoid valve is not allowing water to enter the system. The drain (dump) valve is what shuts your evap cooler so it starts filling with water.
Wow.... that's a pretty fancy evaporative swamp cooler. I've never seen 1 that nice here in the US. Where do you live that they make coolers lookin like that??
These are Australian evaporated air conditioners. Also known as swamp coolers. The old ones are much more reliable. New models have too much electronics in them that tend to fail in hot humid conditions.
My evap has had it, think it’s time to update this 15 year old donk. What’s the Best evap cooler on the market in you’re opinion. I can’t afford refrigerated cooling. So will go all out on an Evap.
Bonaire is what I am recommending at the moment. But if you have solar best option is refrigerated. You will be surprised it's only a few thousand more and with zoning makes it a wise choice. It's what I did.
What dilution do you make your CLR solution to clean the scale and do you use that same percentage spraying the pads? Do you use the formaldehyde free pads? Thank you!!
Yes it's a cable that plugs into the controller. The drain is simple to remove and will slide right out once to press in the 2 tabs. Have a look at this video ruclips.net/video/cKVd4v7r2B4/видео.html
Thanks. I have an HVAC guy likely replacing this, when they call back 🤨, but for future repairs, it looks like I need to have one on hand just because.😬
My evaporate cooler isn't being detected. Is there a simple fix for this? For context it's 6 years old and we rarely use it, only use it during more extreme weather's and do a regular cleaning using your video on how to clean evaporate cooler as reference
@@MurizPezOk, my model is different. It has an external motor with a pulley & belt to drive the fan... which I've now changed... but still to adjust. 🥵
Hi mate I have a Braemar Lcb 450 it won’t come on at all I have replaced the control box dump valve water inlet and water sensor probe any idea what I should do now thanks
When u say the control in box is that the speed controller inside the EVAP unit or the control on the wall inside the house? Any lights on the speed controller inside the evaporative unit? Should a least be a power led and an alarm code if a fault is active.
@@seanoriordan1555 When the evaporative cooler fan is operating normally, the DIAG LED on the front of the speed controller is green and will flash quickly twice. With a small delay between the fashes. This is good. Everything says its good. Sounds like a tech is needed to further diag the problem. May be a motor issue. If a fault is triggered on the speed controller the DIAG LED will turn red and flash a fault code.
@@KiddMerk3 Yes you can take the side filter cover off and then have access to the float valve. Adjusting the float is easy just screw it in or out depending on the issue. Also the float valve seat washer could be worn and amy need replacing.

You will need to take a side panel off and check if the auto vent flap is stuck open. It will be under the fan.

No, rain can enter the filter but it is designed to drain away excess water.
You need to have some windows open in your house to allow for airflow.

Hi dump pump pumping all water out what is the reason can be ? Thanks
Either dump valve not closing, dump seal failed, or salinity sensor failed.

Does the water drain flow stop after a few minutes or continue while running?

your dump valve is leaking or the float valve is not shutting the water off and it is going through the overflow.
