Wow. That area used to be a really good area. The mall was safe; never a fight inside or at the mall. It's saddening that ignorance and foolishness have taken over when unruly children are involved. It's time to start charging the parents.

When they shut the projects down in the early 2000s, they shipped everyone out to Clayton Co. and Douglasville. This has been the result ever since then. I had a client in Douglasville maybe 10 years ago and was floored how hood it had become out there.
these people *destroy* every single source of joy, wherever they’re en masse. schools, malls, restaurants, parties, even baby showers! it’s scary and disgraceful.

This is why alot of malls closed down in my area way back in the 90's. It was starting to get bad back then.
Nope! Malls close due to the cost to maintain them, investors didn't like that. I used to have several malls under my portfolio.

For those who are not familiar with Atlanta, you do not go to Arbor place mall unless you want to be robbed, shot at or have your car broken into. This video is pretty much a normal Saturday evening.

We moved to Tennessee from that town in April this year.. I never felt safe in that mall or town. Shocker no shots thank GOD on that one. This why my son afraid be alone things like this

For one Arbor Place Mall is well outside of Atlanta. And to the poster below saying you will be robbed at Arbor place they are ridiculous. This was a horrid incident and the mall is declining but mostly due to these large masses of teens being left to roam the mall un watch by parents. The Mall is located in Douglasville Ga. Probably one of the last decent suburbs as you move west of Atlanta but it is now slowing declining due to a police force that cant find employees do to know lack of there own and a huge increase in Minority crime. Anyone who would like to say this is a racial statement is fine its not meant to be as the statistics released by the county show it to be fact. I have lived in the area for over a decade and this is the current issue the area is facing. 10 years ago this was not at all the problem but as the demographic of the area has changed the crime and violence have exploded.
What violence? All i could see was a blur
