Really no need to use beeswax for the molds, use a spray and you will have the same crispy result (yes!). However, silicone molds are to be avoided =(
Beeswax is traditional, obviously you can do it your own way. Nothing wrong with silicone as long as is it platinum cured. Chemistry is chemistry.
