Amen to Bubble Wrap! I put bubble wrap on my windows during the winter for years. During one winter, I forgot to remove the wrap on a bathroom window. I kept the wrap on the window because I found that it had a three-fold purpose (1) keep the cold at bay, (2) gave privacy (3) and it is easy to remove and replace when I wash windows. The bubble wrap has been on the window now 4 years. So preach it, Woman---Bubble Wrap Works!! Merry Christmas, friends.🎄
Speaking of cars, my faithful 1998 Subaru died today. Engine blown. Thanks to my emergency fund and all the debt I have paid off recently I was able to replace it with a new to me Corolla . I have been saving for a replacement car but did have to finance some. Now that I have the confidence to budget, save and pay off debt quickly I know I will get the new car paid off sooner rather than later. I am so appreciative of the time and effort you guys put forth into sharing the budgeting method. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Corollas are the best ever. Are Subaru crosstreks any good?
@@brg2743 Subaru's in general are a good car-not confortable-but good long lasting rugged vehicle
26 years I would say that was a long lasting car
@@brg2743 I loved my old Subaru but really don’t know much about the new ones. I have heard a few people say the new ones aren’t as good as the older ones. Yes the Corolla should last a very long time 👍
Merry Christmas, everyone !!
Merry Christmas!
I have bought thermal curtain linings for all my curtains , they just hook onto your curtains. They are great they keep the light out, keep the warm in or the heat out. Well worth it. I also put bubble wrap on my bathroom window as its always cold in there during the winter. I've watched you over the years and you've given me some great ideas. I particularly like and use splitting your grocery money into fifths, so keep one fifth for bargains/deals/stocking up - I've told everyone this tip, my grown up children now do it too!
You guys have helped me so much with my budgeting skills! My husband and I are completly debt free, mortgage free, and building up our savings for retirement! Thanks Hope and Larry for this channel! May God continue to bless you guys! Merry Christmas!
Just got washing machine fixed using emergency money, bought a printer on sale using my sinking fund, stocking up on cheap hams, making ham and pea soup, thks so much for your tips and ideas!
My daughter needed a desk for her bedroom for study and yep marketplace to the rescue I got an ikea one worth almost 300 for 20 dollars as it was a few years old and had a slight crack in the side but it doesn't effect its use and u can hardly notice it yep I did happy dance such a bargain and my daughter loves it
Really good video! Just found the soup based boullion in beef, ham, and chicken. Veggie soup is so good with that. Not using boullion cubes again. Trying to find a good used car with low insurance and good mileage is crazy. We figure that we can save on how much we go, but insurance is all high and less control there. If you buy a car that is too old sometimes they can't find parts to fix it. If you buy one that is newer the insurance is higher. So we are looking at best insurance and not tio old for our best choice. Also, most older cars have accidents on the carfax. Frugality is important but confusing with this.
You are my favorite vegan frugality family! I am hoping to be debt free by March and finally tackling a budget 🎉

My best way to clean my car with the rain water. Once the heavy rain stops I go out and dry it. It comes out good.

I would describe it as a super soft cotton material on the outside and like fleece on the inside. Except the black vest. That's more of a quilted water resistant wipeable exterior.

Buying from thrift stores comes with a big challenge for many. If we see an item that we like and might want we might not feel that we can wait to buy it as there is only one item of that model, colour, size, style, and it might be gone the next day. There is an inner push to buy it because of that and therefore we can easily over-consume….especially clothing but other items as well. (Professor Sabina Weber from the School of Fashion of Seneca Polytechnic in Ontario and researchers from the University of Waterloo in Ontario recently published a study on textile waste which confirms the challenge above) . Of course, this does not mean avoiding thrift buying….it means being aware of our own consumer patterns so as not to succumb to the negative ones within that pattern.
Bubble wrap-crap works!
LOL! It was too good to not include.
I got here late, because I was watching the Turning Point USA Rally!
