I think it's simply a niche/hipster piece of media that gets popular enough for fans to think they can reference it day-to-day, but because they are still very much in the minority it annoys other people.
Someone needs to create a program that broadcasts an image to other people, then accepts input from them which it relays back to the original sender. that way we could have local-coop on the NLSS. (You would have to find someway around the lag tho)
Why not "Sandwich Inserts" instead of toppings or fillings, because they are inserted into the bread (whether between two pieces or in some kind of wedge) instead of being on top of something or "filling" the space between the bread.

I'm gonna be honest, NL has gone overboard with his sarcasm about Undertale. Nick mentioned it like three times in total during all NLSS's. Also I'm really happy they brought up and talked about the possible games to play in the future of the NLSS, because Duck Game has REALLY gotten stale. But it does seem like NL is a bit of a curmudgeon to most of the suggestions. ): Good stream though!

It's a good game but it's bought up on every website and in the comments of every video, and from what other people have said about recording or streaming it, which is that the community is terrible for it, it makes him not want to play it. Take matt and Liam from SBFP, they had to restart their playthrough because of people telling them they were idiots and yelling for them to restart. So that's more of what he means when he calls something an undertale.

i have to admit that i zone out after isaac most of the time. i have had the most fun watching various rogue likes and rainbow six on the show. one game that might be good is risk of rain. it has online multiplayer, should work with enough people and has the fun random nature of rogue likes. i'd alter one of the files to unlock all characters from the start, though. unlocking in this game takes a while and might hurt the variety.
As a public servant of the sandwich serving variety...Toppings for a sandwich would be like....lettuce,tomatoes,pickles,cheese...etc...and fillings would be what ever meat was inside...don't think of fillings as a liquid where u fill a bottle.
