That's true man, I feel so sad for all of the marginalized communities in India. Think about what treasures the people of the Dalit community have, which they haven't been able to show to the rest of India yet, because of the discrimination towards them. Indians should know that we human beings may appear different on the outside, but we are all the same on the inside.

Indian Govt. should make every possible effort to bring this ignored and discriminated community into the mainstream of India, they are part of India and they should deserve the same respect, recognition, dignity and assimilation help as any other Indian entitled to, they are all part of over 700 yrs. of India's rich heritage. Excellent reporting Karan Thakker and your support from Juje and his family, friends and your team on forgotten Indians of India, my sincere thanks to you for your very interesting, gripping and very fascinating reporting. I'm sure, it's wonderful that the Siddi people have retained true Indian culture without the harmful effects from the invaders. I wish we Americans could've retained ours

Red ant is popular in northeast India too. We mainly prefer the eggs though. It is called "amroli poruar toop". It is very delicious. I am from Assam btw 🙃🙃

This is awesome....I have already watched 101 and BBC on Siddhis....and this new piece was nice...but as someone in comment section has already asked... can someone throw a light on sports program which was abandoned un early 90s by Indian goverment on Siddhis of Gujrat....this such fascinating facet of India....it's sad they have been ignored by government and people alike....hopefully awareness increases with upliftment of community....Pardon my ignorance but can someone confirm the language Siddhis were speaking, I think it's Kannada?
