This is they most underrated Akai, it's everything you don't need from the S3000, in slimlined package, it's basically the sound of an MPC 3000 in a box (and we all know the price of those) but it can do so much more. 16 bit samplers are my favourite, I prefer the slight lofi sound to the totally bit crushed 12 bit boys, the ASR-10 is my absolute favourite, the 16 bit samplers are for the true 90s "warmth" connoisseur.
Very instructive... I have an S700 that neither receives any input signal nor outputs audio. Dead silence. I'm not sure what exactly might be wrong, but I will check the ICPs!
I must have blown them fuses when I removed the sound board! Ironically I didn’t need to do that as Scsi fuse was on Scsi board! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ oh well you live and learn
Many thanks for the great comment cheers Bangers and Chumley

100% agreed! It's my favourite sampler of all time.
Knowing that it was a 3000 that's why I got it in the first place. I can get a truck for 6 grand. Loving it so far.

I've got the S2800 and S2000

I have the same sampler, I can get sound out of it but no sound into it🙁any ideas what the problem may be here. Great vid btw….
Possibly check the connections behind the input jack sockets
My data wheel doesn’t work. It’s not loose but does not scroll . It just cuts a sound short or stops a loop if you will. Need help, please😊
You probably need to replace the rotary encoder behind the Data wheel
