@@StefanMarquardt OMG!!! Im screaming!! Thank you for replying I’m blushing (like me ah teenager )🤣💥💥 I want to pull the trigger for this business but because of my city job its a HUGE ISSUE because of the insurance part . ITS TOO RISKY .Im NOT GIVING UP it haffi wok out and it will… KING OF TURO mi appreciate everyting you teach cause I know yah plate full!! BLESS UP AND STAY SAFE💚💛🖤🙏🏾👑
This video was very informational and straight to the point. The jazz in the background was easy listening
Thank you very much, I’m enjoying your Turo experience and sharing with us..
Good topic and these guests are to be treasured. I have one who has been renting 1 week at a time since January.
Can’t beat that….real passive income!
Long time bro, glad your back and still doing your thing 👊🏾
You're very well spoken man, editing is on point too.
So here's my situation, I bought a car solely to rent it out. Was going to be fine because I worked nights so I could do delivery during the day. A week after I bought it I got moved to days. When I'm at work I can't even have my phone on me so do you have any suggestions on how I could still make Turo work?
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼 your only options are to get a friend of family member or even pay someone to help with check ins. You can utilize a lockbox and get someone to verify ID and coordinate with the guest. You might even find someone in your area who has a management company for ride share clients. Good luck 👍🏼
what area you in?
You probably need to substitute teach. Flexible and great paying. I make great $!
This man’s dropping free game. Earned my like and sub
Great advice bro, I would add to having GAP insurance, you never know what condition they return it. I'm an all star host myself.. the things I see)
Thank You 👍
Thanks again if I haven't said it much appreciated
I appreciate the support homie 🙏🏼
That painting in the back is hard AF.
🙏🏼
I rent off the app, too. More money. Hyrecar is good for long term.
Which insurance tho?
@@StefanMarquardt We usually use Lula or PeriodX(ABI) Insurances.
How do you deal with vehicle maintenance? Who will be in charge of maintenance during the long term rental?
I mostly take car of maintenance…unless it’s just an oil change then I can have the renter go to a local oil change place and reimburse them or get a payment link
Hay nice video it Mohamed your bro
Mohamed my boy you need to get 1 car for rent too 💪🏼👍🏼
Very helpful.
🙏🏼
Great video, this is happening for me right now, the guest keeps extending. But Turo unlisted the car for reasons I can’t see. Do you think Turo unlisted it for that reason, so the guest can keep extending?
No they would t I lost for the guest. Did you find out why?
This video has awesome Gems dropped gratitude Steph. I have a question. Can we lease cars from a dealership and still do Turo rentals?
Sorry for the late response…lease contracts usually don’t allow commercial activity….the mileage restriction is also too low for Turo
@@StefanMarquardt Thanks
How do you handle the maintenance?
Are you doing long term rental on Turo??? Also with the current economy what is the best way to find economic cars??
dam he said welcome back, i should welcome back as well bro
😂 thanks for the welcome back
Do not keep raising rent, and be very on point with work orders. It is not rocket science.
Where are the clients picking up and dropping off?
Either from your home location or they ask for delivery. I had a 3 month client that requested this.
I rent a lot with 15 spaces
@@StefanMarquardt how can I find a lot in my city?
Bro how much did you make that year for renting your car ?
Could I take a Turo across state lines
Appreciate you brother
🙏🏼
I have a 2016 Toyota Prius C. My longest has only been about less than two weeks. Any tips
It’s purely a numbers game, with enough trips you will get 1. The sweet spot is between $35-$50….any higher than this and renters can’t afford this. Good luck 👍🏼
How many times did the guest have to pay during the long term rental. Only a week or two at a time and keep extending?
Guest pays for the amount of days they are initially booking, host gets partial payments every 3 days on the rental that’s still extending
Appreciate the information bro quick? Just got a 2017 kia cadenza do you think that's a good car to put on turo and if so how much would you charge a day
Probably around $60-$80 a day….I wouldn’t keep past my warranty period tbh…not a big fan of Kia’s longevity
@@StefanMarquardt thanks bro keep up the great work
kia cadenza v8 is a no good. and depends on your area
@@entrepreneur1013 I don’t mess with Kia at all….unless warranty 🙅🏽♂️
How many miles does your cars have?
From 50k all the way up to 150k
Longest I has is close to two weeks
What kind of car and price range?
@@StefanMarquardt 2014 cla 250 it was $60 daily he book from me three times
Your vids are so informative and I have a question that I kinda got the answer from bing watching past vids. I have a honda crv 2012 paid in full with black leather seats new tires and mechanically sound was in perfect condition until a few months ago when accident occurred other party's fault. Damage = back L panel, bumper and tailgate. Question: would you think it would be worth repairing (good enough@ mom/pop shop) for Turo beginner car since value is diminished but not totalled nor accident report or just taking the buy offer from honda dealer for $4000? Oh and their insurance only gave me $5000 because they only had liability. Thanks for any input.
Thanks for positive comment 🙏🏼 I think this would be a great opportunity to start and Hondas have a great resale value. Make sure the miles are under 130k and also have to list before we enter 2023. Good luck 👍🏼
I need help with this. I am a beginner, one week in. One of my cars was just booked from October 6, to Nov 29. That includes over 16,000 miles. Should i decline the booking? Is there a way to charge after the booking?
What’s the year/make/model and listed price? Also, do you have a GPS on it?
@@StefanMarquardt It's a 2021 VW Jetta, i have it listed at $45 a day. No gps, just mirror link.
@@StefanMarquardt S model
@@chadmacullough3459 Iam renting 2015 Jettas for that price so I would say too cheap
@@StefanMarquardt I was just trying to get things moving, i never expected to get booked for this long a time. I guess i just have to chalk it up to a learning experience. The good news is, it's a 65 year old couple, and i don't have a payment on the car for 90 days. I still feel like i am being stupid, but you live and you learn.
They don’t teach this in college that’s for sure 😊
Facts smh
how to book a free call with you?
Iam sorry I don’t offer free calls…I run multiple businesses and shoot videos in my free time.
@@StefanMarquardt ok gotcha thanks
If you think about this is actually messed up. Those people who turned into long term rentals must have been going through some shit to pay off his entire car in 1 year and them not to be able to realize it or have enough money to jump out of that hole
It’s the glass full half empty question because one could argue that Iam actually helping them by providing an option 🤷🏽♂️
I have bad credit I use Turo and extend when I can
