That is probably the most fretless sounding bass I've heard so far.
I am a bass builder but the first time I saw a Stradi bass I thought, “I guess I can start making rocking chairs.”
make a rocking chair bass!
I hope your rocking chairs is blooming
The solo with the knob at mid position sounds almost like a synth!
That's that meow-like growl
Sounds beautiful. My wife overhead it and wants to hear more. Nothing else sounds quite like a fretless electric bass, to be sure. I particularly liked how some of the solo notes were played a little behind the beat.
Thanks:)
@@pendofsky what song are you playing? I know it's probably just a solo but I really like it. Great Video
@@d3magol9 hehe I was just improvising here - thank Youc;) If You like my music- here is full discography, including my latest "Gumolit" album: www.pendofsky.bandcamp.com
@@pendofsky yeah figured, thanks
@@pendofsky 4:00 AM right now, just figured out the tabs to most of it might type it up and link you it… don’t know how accurate it is though
As a bassist, sounds pretty nice and clean. Fretless looks like more comfortable and easily to move on neck.
Nice bass track and bass melody :)
Thanks!
Музыка - супер. Завораживает!!! Очень нравится. Почаще б таких композиций
The coolest bass I've ever seen
Smooth beautiful sound, yet thick overtones, which I love. I have grown to love my fretless for it unique sound abilities. Drove me to create a custom fretless. Add one to your collection, let it show you what it can do.
Love the sound!
Fretless aways reminds me the Death band!!
That's Steve Di'giorgio! Check out his other stuff, he's played in Sadus, Testament and a few other bands 🤘
What a sound! Incredible! ✨
Thx and cheers:)
Great sound
Sounds great!
works of art
Beautiful.
Thank You :) check out my premierę of vinyl "Gumolit" : pendofsky.bandcamp.com/ :):)
Great sound with basic limited control which is really what you need from a fretless, I think that the tune is from the Album Kamakiriad by Donald Fagen - Snowbound, if not, it is extraordinarily similar.
Uau!!! Achei os sons!!! Muito lindos!!!
Manda um de cada, pra experimentar! !!!rsss
WOW WHAT A SOUND
I'm in love, damn that's a fine bass
Thanks! More details: www.stradi.pl
Lovely instrument... gets a bit 'clacky' with what I presume is a piezo but treble tamed a bit and it's very nice...
Its got a tone of tone, which is good, because you have lots of tone to work with. Its easy to take it away, but hard too add it when it doesn't already exist.
@@brettzolstick989 so true
Love that tibre
Now this is how an electric bass guitar is supposed to sound.
awsome
oh man, oh man, oh man.
zajebisty
Nice
Epic
this melody and sound always reminds me cats meow during the spring
Genial.......ʘ‿ʘ
That sounded so weird
Hi. As for me, that was the best looking bass guitar I’ve ever seen! Does it just have a piezo pickup?
Hello Anton, Yes this bass have piezo pickup. Cheers, Marcin
Marcin Pendowski Thanks
That’s a spectacular sounding bass, but do I want to know the price?
$99.95 (NOT) plus shipping and handling fees. I stick kick myself for not buying a Rickenbacker when they first came out! 😖😱🤢😭
What strings do you have on the instrument?
Hello, can you please tell what strings are used on this beautiful preview?
Amazing piezo sound, i Wonder how it would sound mixed with a precision or humbucker pick-up.
I'm recording on similar Stradi my upcoming album. Results are awesome, bass is mixing with other instruments very well. Will show You results soon::):)
The notes really sing thats what I love about fretless bass but it depends on how well you play it. Having a well set up fretless and yeah awesome ♥️
Jakie masz tam założone struny? wyglądają jak DR neon w białym kolorze
Is there a fretted pickup version?
Yes
Is this a piezo set up? Are the Pick Ups under the wood or at the bridge?
Крутой безлад!!!!
What strings you running there mate?
My beloved friends , if You consider my music&flow interesting, don't hestitate to buy my solo album:-)pendofsky.bandcamp.com/releases
what a lovely harmony, ¿somebody knows what song is that? the bass pure gold, by the way jaja
Thanks, I was improvising this song fot sake of this test.. It has no title Yet:) cheers
@@pendofsky well, congrats, sounds so good to me :D
Fm: fon fon, fonn fon. Fonn fon fon fonn fon
Em: Fon, fon, fon, fon fon fonn
O som è foda
Sounds like synth bass. I wonder why that would be.
nylon strings combined with no frets
Does that thing have a headstock or not have a headstock?
So aggravating!!! SHOW THE HEADSTOCK!
It does, you can just barely see it.
This sounds much better than the sky... something model.
Anyway, improvement would be necessary, the sound is punchy and over-expressive even with "killed" tone. It needs to be softened, and more sofisticated.
Anyway, this is a good direction to develop really good bass guitar.
It seems that Stradi guys still did not flickered out that being a good carpenter is not the same as being a good luthier, but on the other hand they are on the right path to start creating really impressive instruments.
Here is my latest album:

Very honest. True. Not like thousand dollars bass said blaa blaa blaaa
Thats interesting musical instrument😂
Hi, if the fingerboard isn't Ebony, what is it made of?
Ask Stradi directly, I'm testing a lot of basses, don't remember specs every single bass... cheers!
Are those roundwounds or flats?
That was pretty . Thanks
Youre welcome:)
Is this an original song? It sounds great!
Yes, it is my little composition:) cheers:)
Donde lo consigo?
Piezo cranks on treble.
Where are the pick ups hidden?
I guess its a piezo under the bridge.
Andreas Schlitzkus I saw a documentary on Stradi and yes, they do use piezo pups. Sounds AMAZING!
Weslenne Wuthrich was beer the bridge
agr me diz pq isso custa 17 pau
I wonder where are the pickups?
In bridge
Where can I get one 😂
Sounds like a bee
Price? ???? ....Pls
THEY'RE BEGINNING FROM 2.500 EUROS....
Does anyone know what is the title of this song? Please?
This song has no title yet. I ve just created some bass@melody for purpose of this test:) cheers:)
Thank you. .. I love it! 👍
@@notorious5208 Youre welcome:)
Not a fan of the sound. I'm guessing it's a piezoelectric pickup?
Yes, its piezo.
@@pendofsky By the way, I really appreciate what you're doing in terms of the crafting and design of bases, choice of woods for example. Respect! In my own case, I noticed years ago, that on acoustic-electric guitars with piezo pickups under the bridge, while it may be convenient, it doesn't accurately reflect the acoustic sound of the instrument. I've just moved the J-style pickups on my own custom-built 35" scale fretless further towards the neck, and it has really improved the tone and timbre. Opened it up. It's as if I can hear more of what the wood contributes. My sense is that the piezos under the bridge capture a narrow range of vibrations the strings are producing biased towards the high end. Thoughts?
Where are the pickups?
Piezo pickup is situated unther the bridge. Cheers, Pendox
@@pendofskythx. only one? Im sure I cant afford this beautiful monster tho.
Обычный прессижн только безладовый:)
Looks cool but has the tone of fret buzz.
very low bridge setting w round wounds, personally, I love it. beautiful bass
Bruh how does it have fret buzz when there's no frets
@@joeking1019 To each his own my man. I respect it.
@@danplaysguitar6706 You obviously failed reading comprehension.
@@marcose1137 yeah, misread it. It says tone, my mistake 🤣
Would be completely understandable if mistaken for a synth
Btf bass
$4000 USD.... nice.
Roundwound strings strange
They look like silicon rubber, like the strings on a U bass.
Where the f... are the pickups xD
piezo in the bridge
don't know why, but i hate SO MUCH the sound of every Stradi basses
I have to agree. they're incredibly beautiful instruments with an incredibly limited tonal range. it's really unfortunate.
so you prefer an upright, horses for courses eh?
日本人はいないのか
Gorgeous looking bass that sounds like a shit.
