Thx for demonstrating this formidable instrument! But it is NOT a violin inspired shape. The shape comes from the classical double bass. Have a look at the shoulders of a violin and at the shoulders of a double bass. You will see, they are completely different. The shoulders of a violin meets their neck in a 90 degree angle, the double bass not. That is because they come from a different intrument family. Violin, Viola and Cello are relatives - the double bass does not belong to this family. This mistake is also often made by spoking about the famous Höfner-bass of Paul McCartney. It is called a "violin" bass. But the shape of Pauls bass is NOT a violin - it is the shape of a double bass.
Beautiful bass with beautiful sound!... Do I understand correctly, that there is no battery inside? If yes? This is 100% what I like! I mean fretless, piezo, knobless, batteryless.

That is gorgeous. 500 years from now it will still be a discussion.
That's a beautiful bass, yes it's a piece of art that speaks. ❤️
This is the endpoint for your boutique bass rabbit hole

Does that base come in left handed
@@richardrincon3090 yes
No controls of any kind is a "feature" I wish were more common.
Same like any controlles can be done with petals and amp setting I almost never touch my knobs unless I accidentally hit one then I reset it
@@guitarfox8316 No knobs and a volume pedal - that's Scott Grove's preferred setup (never tried it myself, though).
Is this instrument available with fret lines?
Lines are clearly visible on the fretboard
@@Jason-cm6uh My eyesight is not so good. Missed them first time. CLEARLY.

@@Jason-cm6uh I’ll pass on you and on you calling mine a dumb question when you’re the one showing up with a bad attitude to begin with.
