As I’ve been watching different artists, and now you do this starburst, I have been thinking about trying one myself. This is beautiful. Thank you for the encouragement. I also love hearing you talk😁
Gilly, of course there are new things all the time because no two paintings are ever the same! Since they are all different, they are all new!!! You do new things all the time and they are GORGEOUS!!! I love watching your tutorials and listening to you. I love your work, and Bob Ross', and Clive5Art, and Painting by Justin and Color by Feliks. I learn something every time I watch these artists' tutorials and it makes me want to try at least. God Bless you, Gilly. and I love this new "flower"
When you say its a good therapy, your so right! I'm reclusive and had panic attacks that would make me black out! My Dr had me look on Pinterest to find different styles of art. I used to draw but because of nerve damage I couldn't! Anyway, I found you and Julie and was hooked! I've not had one panic attack since I started over a year ago! This art, and you and the others that teach have been a blessing to my life! Thank you for everything you do! I feel like it's saving my life, as silly as it sounds! Again, Thank You! 🤠❤️
Heather Caver dear Heather I’m so very happy if our art channels give therapeutic benefits and laughter and relief, I for one would and do this art channel for free, I don’t ask or seek money from donations but my payment is from people like you that get great therapeutic benefits from the art I create 🥰🥰🥰 Stay well and happy 😃 big hugs sent your way Heather 😘🇺🇸🇺🇸
I, too, have nerve damage and neuropathy. I’m losing a lot of function in my hands now my feet are totally gone I have Charcot foot, I’m not sure if you’re familiar with that. And to top things off my horse stepped on my foot for you years ago, and I have a forever broken foot. So I wear a boot at all times. I’m diabetic, so I can’t wear a cast, so I have this food that I schlep around everywhere. I suffer from depression, and yes I even having that attacked. I should say are used to having Zaidi attacks. I’m usually a fiber artist, but now I’m a mixed media artist. Thank you for sharing your skill and your craft with all of us. People don’t realize it sometimes I think they forget, what you were doing. It’s almost like someone going to work and not getting to pay. But then again, I know I love sharing my knowledge of fiber and textiles, quilting etc. Mostly, it’s because I so enjoy doing it, that I want others to experience the same piece that I get out of doing it.
I guess I was supposed to put at Heather in the beginning so that everyone knew that I was replying to Heather… I wasn’t trying to post my sad story up on the board, I was trying to respond to Heather. Thank you Gilly, and everyone.
I was thinking what in the world is she making??? And then that happened.... absolutely a stunner!!! So glad you showed us this video. Thank you Gilly.
As you’ve probably figured out by my numerous comments, I have spent the entire day I mean the ENTARE day watching your videos. I am addicted to your work! I’ve always always always wanted to go to Australia and I know people who have gone to Australia and never has there been a negative word. So you let me come to Australia and you inspire me artistically, so it’s the best of the best of the best. Thank you!
I used to be a fine dining chef in 5 star restaurants. I left that part of my life behind 6 years ago, changed careers and began teaching English in Vietnam, which I don't regret for one singular minute. But it's the creative part of fine dining that I miss terribly. The more I watch your videos, the more I get itchy to start creating again. So many times, I used to look at a plate of food on a stainless steel kitchen table, thinking that's it's just OK. But when it's served to a guest in the restaurant, white linen, silver cutlery and delicate lighting, everything just popped and made my efforts worth while. Not to be forward, but I think you might feel the same? Once it's on a wall, in the right spot, it just becomes something else, magical.
You deserve the accolades you get from RUclips and your subscribers. Your painting techniques are cool, and I love listening to your explanations. Thank you and don't stop...LOL
Gilly.\, I DO so love watching your work and enjoy your delightful, vulnerable personality! you're so real. I loved it when you shared this--I didn't realize I was watching one Ive seen before. I loved this so much, I ended up doing a second one soon after! I want to share with you what a gift it was--back earlier in our shut-down, when I was very disturbed because they closed our churches down at beginning of Lent and as you know that still is the case in much of US. But the one of the silver-linings was watching your art videos--this one--when I tried it right after I watched your video---it looked like an old-time stain-glass window to me. It was a nice surprise and a comfort and a joy--so a few days later, I made a second one. Each looked just different enough- they suggested some spiritual ideas! So cool, and though I didn't think to thank you earlier. Wow, I really do appreciate this, more and more! And I love your centers and embellishments--gives me more leeway to compensate for imperfections. SOO happy for your success with RUclips!!! Obviously we watchers LOVe you, and I'm glad I listened more this time and am learning about your other pages and groups!!!
Honestly, don't understand any thumbs down. I'd like to see their art work? Plse hun, don't take any negativity to heart. Your work is inspiring! And much loved.
Love this ❤ I love bright colors! As a child I had red hair and green eyes. My mom always dressed me in green, redheads do not wear pinks, reds etc. after leaving the nest, I did not wear greens but pinks and purple reds for years. In my 60’s I have bought greens and autumn colors and hear oh that color really looks good on you. Well I still wear beautiful colors anyway I am going to try this. Thank you 😊 for sharing and congratulations 🥳
